Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is vast while focusing on theory and practical approaches to the subject at the same time. The experiments are interesting too. The curriculum covers a large number of topics and also makes sure to relate them to real-life applications. There's a good scope for improvements in practical experiments, though. Frequency is fine since we have class tests, internals and then externals. One or two exams can be really tough each semester; otherwise, they're in the middle majority of the time.
Fees and Financial Aid
I pay 20000 per year excluding the skills subject fee which is 1000 per year. People with a gross income of less than 2L per annum can avail of scholarships; it is provided based on merit. Registration fees were 250 rs.
Campus Life
The campus is decent. Good, well-maintained bright, fresh gardens with flowers. You can get every book of your academics in the library. Sports and other extracurricular activities are also well-focused. We have cultural and literary societies where students and teachers are act.ive
Admission
Since it's a private college, I had to register myself through the CCSU website during the registration process. My marksheets were submitted offline along with other documents. I chose this college because of its affordable fees, good faculty and proximity to my home. I scored 572 in neet and couldn't make it to an MBBS college and BSC was my plan B
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is an average of 38:1 . Teachers are extremely nice and approachable. They help the students with academics, events, activities, and even with their problems. All the teachers create a good environment while teaching The botany faculty is the best. She's the sweetest and most interactive. As of now, there's no faculty I dislike. We have regular class tests, then internals and finally externals. Internals are somewhere in the middle, and externals, too. Botany's exam was tough in semester 2 but was manageable. A few students (3-5) failed that exam given the toughness level.
