Nirma boom or boon

Academically very good but it does not focus on sports much. Even though we have very good cricket ground we don't play theirs. We have a very good gym but the timing of the gym don't suit to many students. Some machinery are old.

In Nirma, the administrators focus on course too much and the courses are kept changing as demand for technology changes in the market. In Nirma university, we don't only study our respective field subject, but university believed to give basic knowledge of all departments or field.

Yes, my college provides internship of 2 months and 6 months. They give us the project to do and we have to complete that same project in the given time interval. In such projects, we learn alot about new things and gain knowledge about a new concept which is beneficial for placements.

Placements are good especially for computer engineering students but of other branches placements are fine. The average package of last year from computer engineering branch was 8.76 lakhs. Some big IT firms visit every year and take students at a good package.

For event celebration, we have many different clubs which conduct different events at different times. There are cultural, coding quiz events, which keeps happening almost every month. We also have one event which is conducted by the university itself for 2 days.

Fee structure of Nirma university could be a little bit expensive for lower-middle-class people but if we compare the fee structure of Nirma with other private institution or even with it's, it is less and is affordable.

In Nirma, there is a dedicated lab for each subject. If there are practicals in the subject than you will go lab and will implement the practicals. Else you will have a tutorial session where you can solve problems on a different concept.

There are no hostels for undergraduates but Nirma has very good hostels facilities for postgraduates students. Right in front of hostel, they have cricket stadium so they also enjoy cricket in cricketing season.

This is the best at this college. It has very good alumni connection. And alumni visit college every year to support us. Seniors are helpful too. They help by providing notes and by telling us which subject is important to study and on what subject we need to focus more.

Exam structure of Nirma is very similar to its. Exams are conducted in 3 parts. Class test, mid sem and sem end. The class test is of 30 and mid sem is of 40 marks. And final is of 100 marks. And we also have some innovative assignment as well to gain a better knowledge of the subject.

Faculties are good. They all have very good knowledge of their respective subjects. All the teachers are well qualified. All teachers work hard to give and believe in sharing of knowledge. Teachers maintain very good discipline in the class and all come well dressed. In our university, we have both female and male teachers.
