Course Curriculum Overview
It helps in all the ways. Not only about the classes, sports, music, dance, drama, trips everything helps to bond with the teachers more & this also makes us confident during exams & in-campus interviews.
Internships Opportunities
Internships like little handcraft companies to big like SBI Life company does there internship programmes in the college. From office posts to field works, every kind of job opportunities are provided by the college & guided by the respected sir & maams.
Placement Experience
The placements were good. I also got a job & still doing it after 1.5 year of passing. Also after doing English honours course you can easily become a teacher or do jobs in communication fields. Also it makes your vocabulary & spoken English good that helps in any kind of interviews.
Fees and Financial Aid
At first have to give around 5000 for admission & that also changes for other courses. Then there comes exam fees & admit card fees like 150-300 for each semesters. There are all total 6 semesters in the 3 years course. You can apply for Swami Vivekanand Merit Scholarship or others which'll give you financial aids of like 12,000 yearly.
Campus Life
One of the bestest part of this college is it's curriculum activities. The cricket matches to football matches to table tennis & carrom, badminton every sports are daily played & have tournaments also. Also they helds multiple programmes a year of like singing, dance, recitation, drama etc. also there are several clubs like Movie Club, Environmental Club, Science Club, Literature Club, Robotics Club etc. & all are extremely active.
Admission
The admission process was online. You've to apply with your 10+2 marks & after counciling if your name is on the list, you can admit yourself. The college is rated NAAC A+ & obviously that makes this one of the bestest colleges of West Bengal.
Faculty
The faculty members are great. Especially I've encountered the English, History, Social Science & Physics department & they are extremely helpful. The classes are very effective. The B.A courses are of 3 years, have 6 semester exams(internal & written tests). 2 semesters each year.
