Course Curriculum Overview
First of all its a paramedical field so its NOT EASY to complete the course We have to face many up and downs As a radiographer am happy I choose the best course For us we want to study the entire body not a specific region And the main thing is we are working under radiation so there are many side effects even a small mistake can cause harmfull to our health Everwhere anytime we want to be carefull
Internships Opportunities
For paramedical field they provide internship in yenepoya mecical college and also in their parnner hospitals in kerala/karnataka We have the chance to choose the hospitals In yenepoya medical follege there are only few seats so for the remaining students they arrange their partner hospitals for internship
Placement Experience
They provide placements in their hospitals itself After the course completion Between that they will provide internship and postings in their parntner hospitals itself Or else after getting degree we can work anywhere
Fees and Financial Aid
Am a B.Sc Medical imaging technology student from yenepoya (deemed to be) University Its a 4 year proffesional degree course which includes 1 year internship (3+1=4) When i joined the course fee was 4,80,000 (four lakh eighty thousand) + 100000(one lakh donation) but the fees maybe vary bcoz they are increasing the course fee, in the year of 2024 it was around 800000(eight lakhs) We have 8 semesters in 4 years and each year we have 5 months posting (training) in hospitals we have normal seats in yenepoya medical college itself and also affiliated seats (students were posted in the partner hospitals , we have the chance to choose the hospital) And coming to the college it was amazing the faculties are very supportive and friendly , they provide class notes it makes the studies easier And its a paramedical field so we have to concentrate more in studies The college was good and you can enjoy your studies
Campus Life
The collage provide all types of club and conduct each n every programes We have a club for fund collection during ramadn and all they collect the fund from students and helping needy peoples many charity programes are there in the college
Admission
First I have applied to NITTE universty but i dodnt get seat bcoz of my last time application the seats were full and as next option i choosed yenepoya I got seat but affilited seat am ok with that bcoz otherwise my 1 year will be spoiled The admission process is easy i took direct admission also they have online application process Once your application approved they will call yu and yu want to pay the donation after that there is a counciling class they will mail the dates and details of that , that day yu have a small test and yu will get unforms id cards and all , also you have to pay your 1 sem fees
Faculty
The faculties are very friendly and helping they provide everything for students they are very caring My course is medical imaging technology So we have 8 semesters and between each semestr there is 2 internal exams if we want to score 50% marks to eligible for the university exams ( sem Exam) and 80% attendance NOTE: ATTENDANCE IS IMPORTANT In semester exam the marks is out of 100 we want score minimum 50 marks to pass ( we need 50% marks to pass)
