- Many rules and regulations like schools which are not required in college
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure was fine and i choosed this beacause i wanted to come in commerce field. I made me little confidence in public speaking and giving presentations it leveled my organizations skills and different management approaches.
Internships Opportunities
Interships were provided based on the department and it was a basic and good stipend type. Roles like sales and marketing , hotel management, front office etc were there. Companies like amul and icon, hotels provided internship for about 4-6 months but the timing didn't satisfied the stipend.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly we have to pay 2 installment before every semester and in one year 2 semesters are held so per semester we had to pay between 20000-25000. Other than that late fine of 100 we have to pay others charges like in events and so on and my friends pays hostel fees and its a Christian college so catholic students paid less.
Campus Life
Technical facilities were good a projector lab room and library to access books. Annually many fests ans events were held which taught us something and we also enjoyed it. Different types of clubs were there for interested students ti join them and annual sports football etc were also held.
Admission
I also applied to ither colleges like suryasen and siliguri and sit and also got selected there but i choosee salesian because i wanted to have and private college experience and talking about SIT i didn't choosed that due to its a bit higher fees compared to salesian. It has a eqsy admission process form fillings all documemts and then paying the fees and registering urself as a student of the college
Faculty
The exams and overall good a cia is taken in three parts whose marks is provided by the college and the rest by university l. Questions are overall fine and the cut off marks are also average. Faculties are good except some but not much supportive towards students.
