Dislikes
- Lecturers need to be more knowledgeable rather thanjust having years of experience
- College is bit stricter compared to other colleges
- Non availability of AC in classes which becomes soo hard to tolerate during summer season
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically Computer Science was my primary interest so diving deeply into the world of ahrdqare ans software was my main passion.The curriculum just gives about 40 percent for the real world .Courses must be more practical rather than theoritical and also they should show the fields of use of different courses .The exam timing is perfect
Internships Opportunities
There are internships for the final year students and as I have currenlty enteres my 3rd year I have no Idea about the companies but the college utself provides internships for each of us.There should be a major project done by the students by the end of the academic year
Fees and Financial Aid
I have completed my two years with paying an amount of 2,50,000 only as an admission fee and also paying my hostel fee for two years which is approxiamtely 70,000 .fee structure also depends on the +2 marks as I have got above 80 percent in pcm I have this fee structure for my academic year whereas it also increases if it is less than 80 percnt in pcm and decreases if morr than 90 percnt in pcm .In the upcoming years the fees has only bern increased and is to be increased in the future years.There are scholarships mainly for only karnataka students not for other students so me being a non karnataka does not get access to these scholarships.
Campus Life
We get freshers in college and talent days and nothing else.We have a seperate compound for our library where we get our subject books and other books too.the classroom has ppt .Sports is an elective subject and also we have it yearly once or sem wise .There are many clubs such as glug gdc etc
Hostel Facilities
We have 3 beds for 3 students a separate cupboard for each one a table and desk for each of us.The food served here is fresh and tasty.Hostel registration is performed in colleges administration offfice itself
Admission
This college is more budget friendly compared to other colleges having this course .Not that I am saying this college is affordable but when we compare it with others this college is a hype.I was not rejected from any college because my primary decision was this college itself.There is no such thing as exam for choosing a particular course but cutoff is based on our predegree marks
Faculty
Faculty and students have a moderate relationship only with necessary interactions .The best faculty through all my 2 years is prof.VITTAL BHATT M .He is an extraordinary lecturer who deserves to be appreciated a lot and also we students of PA college have anickname for him .We call him Vittal sirs V for Victory
