An Insight to IIMT College of management, Greater Noida

The college is good and teaches many things not just for academics but for life. The attendance is not really a major issue once you cross the first year. The HOD and Dean of the college really get clingy when it comes to submission of college fees but are really supportive and helpful otherwise especially if you try to study. In short and taking all the factors in mind, we can say that it's a nice college for someone who actually wished to study.

The curriculum is up to date with the introduction of latest subjects like GST in the main course by the university. Further the college also tries to keep the students updated with latest information and knowledge by introducing classes such as tally on their own personal end.

Yes, college goes provides internship. There were various companies that came to the campus for offering internships. I got selected in two companies out of which one gave stipend of 6,000/-and the other was a non paid internship. I have my other preference due to which I anyhow didn't join any.

IIMT provides an awesome placement structure for the ones who are looking and are interested for job. Big companies such as Calvin Klein, Reliance Jio, Tommy hilfigher, TCS, Concentrics have already visited the campus and there are many more yet to come giving good salary to the candidates.

There are literally many events being continuously held at the campus ranging from star night to navratre puja. Celebrities like Katrina Kaif, Sonakshi Sinha, Shael and many others have already visited the campus. Moreover there are many academic, cultural and sports fest too that are continuously held at the campus and give amazing prizes and reward too.

The fee structure is really feasible as compared to the rest of the colleges of greater noida. The only burden is the examination fees that need to be paid by the student for filling the examination form of each semester and it ranges from 1700 to 3700. Except for this, the fee structure is quite feasible and appropriate.

Scholarship facilitues are provided by the college on the basis of academic marks which I did avail and the other categories are that of female gender and national sports player, etc. The college also helps in availing loans and gives a letter that can be submitted at the banks to avail loan.

Being a BBA student, we don't really have lab works but have seen labs set up for B.Tech students and they are well furnished and well equipped. Being honest, the sports activities happen at a really low level and students are always dissatisfied with the sports opportunities available. Though there are arrangements like a basketball court, Badminton Court and stuff student isn't allowed to play during college hours.

I haven't stayed at the hostel but can rate it according to what I have seen. I have visited the hostel building and the infrastructure is quite okay for boys hostel and excellent for girls hostel. The reviews on food are not that good but the facilities of laundry, gym, sports, etc. Combat for it.

The alumni network isn't that strong of IIMT but the senior students available at the campus itself are helpful and quite friendly. They don't deny any help if it is asked in a decent manner. So yes the seniors are helpful.

BBA at IIMT is a six semesters program where a student needs to appear for exams of all subjects every semester. The total marks consist of both internal and external. Internal consists of 25 marks and the external being of 75 marks. Students can appear for backlogs if any in the next year paper. The final semester also includes a project report and Viva.

I got to know of the college through one of the directors of a well reputed University. He suggested me to go there saying its one of the best colleges for studying BBA in Greater Noida if one actually wishes to study. After this, I went to the college where my interview was taken by the admission cell and was later called for admission.

The faculties are learned and experienced. At times language gets a barrier but is efficiently handled by their experience. They are cooperative, give ample notes and try their best to ensure that a student is getting all-round growth and development.
