Entrance Preview

No specific entrance exam was conducted for my selected course. But there was some cutoff percentage to get enrolled in this course. Counselling was done at the time was admission. Few Questions were asked and rules of the college were explained very clearly.

Course Curriculum Overview

As this is an autonomous college the curriculum will be updated. Some new subjects were included with normally other college do not include in b.com(comp). course.

Internships Opportunities

In the 2nd year of our course students were given an offer to appear for amazon company's interview. Which allowed all of us to gain some real working experience earlier when compared to other college students. Then, now in final year Deloitte, amazon, wells fargo, wipro , DE Shaw and many other companies already visited our college to offer jobs and internship.

Our college every year celebrates JOSEPHISTA (a major event held every yr), college annual day, we do celebrate independence day and Christmas in our college campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

I personally don't feel any scholarships are provided. At the time of admissions no one discussed or offered scholarship for me ( even though I had secured aroung 90% in my intermediate).

Exam Structure

Each semester students are required to write internal 1 &2 and an end semester exam. 10 marks will be given for SBT(Skill based test).

Course Curriculum Overview:

I just wanted to be a government job aspirant so I enquired a lot about it then I found the answer in this college. I just finish my classes and afterwards I'll attend my coaching institute they gave permission for me to study both so I joined in the college.

Even from 1th sem we are eligible for placement and there aee many companies like infosis etc. And average package is about 5lpa the percentage of students getting placed is around like 60-85%. My plans after degree is to open some business

Yes tapasya college provide placements if students have no backlogs, and CGPA 8.5 will get the placement but very less package College provide classes for interviews for that they charge fees many students got their placement

Harsh reality of a college student

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college promises for big companies but there very few companies came with not a satisfactory salary package.As it only offers with an average salary or 350000. And they do not tell how to present ourself for placement interview.

Placement Experience:

5 th semester students are eligible for the placements. And in the 3 rd and 4 th semester our college conducts some placement related activities,by those we were able to crack placements in the top companies like TCS, HCL, Infosys etc.Most of the students are placed in campus only.

Students because eligible for the campus placements from final year that is 5-6 semester. The companies visited college for placements are EY, Deloitte, ADP, Sutherland, Accenture, sagility, JP Morgan organ, Genpact ect. Companies minimise package offered to the students is 2LPA and maximum about 5-6LPAm. The students getting placements is above 65% but placements are given on the basis on everything including the performance in interview process etc. Some Students are planning do there higher education in states and other are planning to to jobs .

The campus offers placements. More than 65% of students get placed every year. They also have seperate cell to manage the placements of students. They will also provide CRT classes to enhance the skills of students. Minimum average of 3.5 to 4 lakh per annum of salary and maximum is upto 12 lakh oer annum

I chose Bcom Honours to get ready for the future employment and training .I spoke to a career counselor who advised this course to me The curriculum prepares me very well as it contains every part of management which is done in employment. The teaching method can be changed alot ,but the course curriculum can be made more practical as similar to the workplace. The timing and frequency of exams is good ,every semester exam comes in 4-6 months
