- The gender ratio is 1:1 in this campus that is one of the things I liked in my campus
- The campus has great infrastructure and all facilities are available here.
- We get very good placement opportunities here so that is also a great thing about this college
Dislikes
- The campus is very crowded the total strength is around 30000.so you will feel it very crowded
- Due to huge strength in this campus there is a lot of competition in terms of placement you have to be on top get placed
- Here pda guards will which is not a good thing we see in colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum here is quite upto to the date of the present market and they are trying to make it better and better every year by improving themselves.this curriculum helps in preparation of the jobs you are about to get in the future.we will be having exams every 5weeks and they are not that much difficult to write they are quite easy
Internships Opportunities
There are so many companies that come to vellore institute of technology such as Google Microsoft apple cognizant Deloitte ho dell and they offer a great stipend for internships upto one lakh per month which is very good thing about vellore institute of technology
Placement Experience
The placements here are excellent and are improving very well every year this year our college got two one crore packages which is a very good thing for a private institution the average package here Is 10 lakhs per annum which is also a very good thing for a private institution so I can say that this college has very good placements
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise tution fees that you have to pay is based on your category which is given based on your viteee rank.for my case I got category 3 and my tution fees per year is 4lakhs and hostel fees is 2lakhs which includes the caution deposit of 15000.there are no reservations based on your caste in this college.if you get category 1your tution fees would be 2lakhs and hostel fees will be same.if your viteee rank is below 50 you are eligible to get a scholarship in tution fees.
Campus Life
The vit has Riviera which is one of the biggest college cultural fests in India we have a very large library which has almost every books we need for. College students there are a total of 128 clubs in this campus which are run. By students which is also a great thing
Hostel Facilities
The hostel I have taken. Is 4bed room and It has air-conditioning which is a great thing about this college and the mess I have taken is special mess which is very good one the food is of good quality and good taste the registration process was also very simple
Admission
I applied almost for every top private institutions in India in that I got vit and manipal but I chose vit over manipal because vit has better placements and vit has very good nirf ranking among the universities in India also so I chose vit because vit is vit
Faculty
There are so many faculties in college for each subject and faculty to student ratio is pretty good so that it makes easily approachable to them for asking doubts.I like dharani man so much she teaches calculus very nicely and everyone in the class can understand easily.we have 3 exams per semester that sre cat1,car2,fat.
