is ramaiah’s bsc. psychology (hons) course worth it

i have been interested in psychology for a very long time now and finally being able to pursue it feels unreal. the subjects are fascinating. we have bio psychology, introduction to psychology, maths, statistics and english for our first semester. we also have many subjects options for our open electives which are wide ranged

i haven't asked around much about internship programs just yet as i am still a first year student but from what i have heard they have good sponsors and companies for internships and a lot of options for the students to choose from

we have high placement offers in ramaiah and we were well informed about it during induction week, since our college is well reputated and well known the placement offers are very high, and we have many internship programs as well, after my bsc i want to do my higher degree in msc

i paid 2 lakhs for a general seat and i consider it to be very high, and i also heard from the seniors that fee was much lower when they joined the college, also psychology in ramaiah is relatively new as it's been there for only about four years now. i do wish the fee structure was lower but the amenities are all great

the colleges social life is quite well balanced, there are plenty of clubs to choose from and a wide varieties of activities going around each week. if one is not satisfied with the current clubs and wishes start their own, they are free do so and are encouraged. i personally love the art club and it quite peaceful and has made me feel at home

i applied to montfort and got a confirmed, i also applied to pes university but got waitlisted and a few other small colleges that i got accepted by. i chose ramaiah because of its high placement and the reputation of the college also the campus and environment here is great

the faculty is amazing to say the least, very well educated in their field and very passionate about their respective subjects. they are always open for discussions and acknowledgements of doubts and more
