Jain (deemed-to-be) university- primary choice in college.

The general bca subjects and cybersecurity specialized subjects completely ready me for a job. Not only are there technical subjects, but also subjects to enhance our soft skills and physical/mental health. subjects like MMHV and PCL help a lot. MMHV happens every semester, where students are taught team work and other soft skills along with yoga. In PCL students are divided into teams and asked to form a business model and work on it till last year. this helps in overall development of students.

Students in the 5th semester are eligible to sit for placement rounds in campus placements. Various big companies have come to jain, like delloite, accenture etc. The highest package recieved was around 2,00,000 PY by a BCA ai student and the average pakage is of 60,000py. around 98% students get placements per year. Even if someone doesnt get placement, the skills enriched by jain is enough for any company to recruit a student off campus.

The course fees for BCA cybersecurity and BCA ai is 2,15,000/- anually, which is 1,07,500/- per semester. it is a 3yr course which rounds it up to around 6,45,000/- overall. they take extra 10,000 as admission fees in the first semester. Other bca specializations have fees of 1,95,000 per year, which is 97,500/- per semester. They do not provide any scholarships for the BCA course.

campus life is rich with opportunities and activities, creating a vibrant and engaging environment for students. annual events such as onam celebrations, ethenic day and independence day bring the campus community together, celebraing cultural diversity and national pride. The library supports academic pursuits with its vast collection of books and journals and newpapers, covering a wide range of subjects and literature. including badminton, football, table tennis and cricket, promoting physical fitness and teamwork. Beyong sports, campus life is alive with both technical and non technical inter college events organised by clubs like, ACM, Navirithi, uttunga etc. prominent clubs like NCC and NSS further enrich student life, offering opportunities for leadership and community service.

i am in Jains, premium hostel of mojo in btm layout. the fees is around 2,10,000 per annum for double sharing. The rooms are a comfortable size with 2 beds, cupoboard, side table and attached washroom. there is a mess with delicious varities of meals 4 times a day and indoor activities like table tennis, carrom, pool and a vending machine. they also celebrate occasions like ganesh chaturthi and diwali with utmost dedication. The area of hostel is very nice and calming in a friendly locality, around 10 minutes away from jayanagar campus. The in time on weekdays is 9:30pm and on sunday is 10:30pm.

When i was applying for colleges, jain was not really my primary choice at first. however, upon reading more about its course and facilities, it became my one and only choice. along with jain, i had applied for bca in IIBS, Christ, REVA and St. josephs and got into them all. but jain had gotten my heart. The admission process was quite simple. Only had to fill a form, go throught the interview rounds, which were conducted by faculty and then get a confirmation mail for payment. Getting into jain was one of my best decisions.

The faculty is very knowledgeable and has great resources to share with all students. they are all very kind and open to any queries or help. BCA MILES (ai and cybersecurity) faculty are very supportive and always help us around with internships or course related work. My favourite proffessor might be Mrs. Neetha SS. She is kind and stern, exactly the kind of mentor we need. she has been with me through my entire time in this university and shaped my cybersecurity knowledge. Overall there are 3 examinations per semester, internal exams, prepreatory exams and the final university examinations along with some practicals of lab subjects. It is fairly easy to score in these if paid attention in lectures. The course curriculum is really good and helpful for future.
