- Chitkara University provides the most amazing infrastructure to the students and the food court is also good including Domino's , Barista, and many other food franchise.
- Chitkara University also provide wonderful placement in almost every departments .
- The security for students is also amazing in hostel as well .The mess food is also good we cannot say bad it's really nice and affordable.
Dislikes
- The number of students in BE Cse branch is almost 2500 in my batch so very competitive environment at the time of placements
- The gate pass thing that a day scholars need when he wants to go outside the university at the timing of class they need approval from class mentors.
- In chitkara fest is not as big as it is in other government or private colleges they organise only dj nights in month's just for hostelers.
Course Curriculum Overview
They provide trainings from the industry experts in third year of college for the placements. The curriculum they teach really help in my job as well. The teaching method is also good. They conduct only 2-3 clases so that students doesn't feel pressure. For the sessional test they provide 1.5 hours and for final 3 hours
Placement Experience
In 6 lth semester the placements drive was started at my time almost 300 companies visited to the college and many of the was startups . including TCS , Accenture and many more. Highest package is 45 lacks for the sde role provide by Auto desk . In my batch around 75% students got placed the number is lower than previous year because of recession.
Fees and Financial Aid
My tution fees per semester was 82000 and 10000 they took for ERP services other than my hostel fees was 62k-63k per semester.The tution fees they increased every year. Chitkara University doesn't provide any kind of scholarship.
Campus Life
Chitkara University provides a wonderful campus having amazing food court and sports club and gym in campus. Library is excellent providing mac pc and many online books and tutorials. There are many clubs in university for dance , modelling and photography
Hostel Facilities
They provide 4 seater room including bed table and chair and cooler. Talking about the mess food which is really nice and they provide for 4 times a day including snacks in evening. You can register for hostel at the time of admission hostel are affordable and a very good experience. There are a lot of pg in rajpura for boys and girls if you want to rend flat then you can live in bnaur and bollywood gull you can easily get flats there
Admission
The only reason to choose chitkara is placement they really put so much efforts for each and every students to get placed. Chitkara is a private university so you can get easily admission in it if you have more than 60 percent in your 12th class.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio is 75:1. The faculty is really supportive and helpful. I really liked my cloud computing teacher Ms.Neetika she is very friendly and supportive. I really don't like a assistant professor Ms.Tejinder kaur Dhillon her behaviour towards students is not good she always screams in classroom. Each semester they conduct 3 sessional test and one end term. Almost every students pass the exam easily because they are very much simpler questions they asked and completely relevant to curriculum.
