Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I don't know much about the course while entering my college. It's a vast curriculum and need to study about 19 subjects throughout your 5 and half years journey. I liked my biology during my school days. So it influenced me to enter medical field. There will be enough exposure to the society for applications of study. I don't have any idea right now to improve the curriculum of MBBS. University exam will be once a year and there will regular internals on every Saturday. Difficult level will vary from paper to paper.

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees would be ?13.610. This will be reducing in the following years and till now my final year seniors are paying around 4-5 k for their last year. Caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, lab fees will be everything included in your tution fee. There is no need to pay any extra amount.BC and SC scholarship are available to claim. For 7.5% govt students reservation there will be no fee. No other scholarships are available

Campus Life

4

There will be yearly culturals and sports meet. It is usually in the middle of the year. There will be vast number of books in the library and many such recent advanced journals in our college library. Our classroom mostly are good and equipped with technology. There is separate football and volleyball courts in our hostel and enough space for all sports activities. There will all clubs in different aspects and it's based on your interest to join in them. It will be a part of good memory in our college to be participating in the clubs

Admission

I applied for all the government colleges of tamilnadu.i got this college because of my neet exam marks and according to my category. Every government college will be good and have different exposure to the patients. Admission process is through online through govt official website. There will be no offline admission process.Eligibility is passing your NEET exam. Cutoff will vary from year to year depending on the difficulty level of the question paper. A rank list will be released from official website after online application and similarly the admission list. Later the admission process will be instructed in the official govt website and it may vary year to year

Faculty

3.5

Faculty to student ratio is adequate except in very few preclinical department right now(pharmacology). Faculty are good in relationship with us depending on their moods. There is no such favourite faculty most of them are good. There are some facilities I don't like.I don't mention their names due to some issues. They will be scolding us all the times and finding mistakes in all our works. There will not semester. It's a yearly once exam. It's neither easy not tough, it's based on the preparation throughout the year. The last minute before the exam will be hectic. Our of 100 only few fails in every batch. It is more relevant to the course

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.
