An insight into MITS

Will at the end of the day this college is a really good college and being here I totally understand that our director and the management are putting in really hard effort to take it to a new level the new classrooms are being installed and a total growth of college is going on in every section of the college which totally makes you feel like that yes now someone has taken the load finally and their going to post this college through the activation energy needed and the good time is about to start from now so I am really optimistic about it.

Merit List

will the course curriculum is well designed by good teachers and at times we do face a problem of books not being available to us but at the same time its quite normal everywhere so what matter is the course and the outcome of the course which is a very good we get to study almost everything about every topic that comes in the recent developments and the older technologies and all the core subjects such as fluid mechanics heat transfer mass transfer transport phenomena all the subjects are like the classic chemical engineering subjects and their covered in a very good manners.

No the college does not provide internships it only depends upon us and how we can manage to get an internship for training all around the college do not provide any kind of help or funding in this.so when I did my summer training it was totally upon me to go and ask for help from people I know or from other faculty members and it was only at teachers who help us into getting a training otherwise it would have been really difficult and to anyone who is reading this I would absolutely suggest you do good training in your core field suppose if you are doing chemical engineering do a core chemical engineering training and if you do not want a placement used directly to want an MBA then do a management training and a core chemical training as well otherwise it will be really very difficult for you so go for both.

The placement and job opportunities are really good almost every student from computer science engineering information Technology Engineering electrical engineering electronics and telecommunications electronics and communication branch are placed so basically for these two branches the placement is pretty hi and students place that pretty good packages otherwise in general Infosys Accenture Capgemini and LNT infotech are here for mass recruitment for other branches also there are placements and now talking about chemical engineering yes there are placements but you going to have to work very very hard if you are in this branch and you want placement right from college otherwise will have to opt for off-campus

we don't get to see much of events being celebrated in our college other than republic day Diwali new year independence day but yes the college now has a few clubs which actively participate in these events and not only participate but conduct these events which is a really important at this point now we had 2 major concerts in our college in the past and this culture is really growing and kicking in so it is really good

Will the thing about fee structure is that it changed almost every time so in our first year we were shown a totally different fee structure and then we don't know how and if it is allowed or not but our fees were increased by 10000 rupees which were not supposed to happen but it did anyway and even after that the fees were supposed to be decreased but it kept on increasing so at this point of timepieces between 70,000 to 80 85000for branches like chemical engineering biotechnology while on the other hand for branches like civil engineering mechanical engineering the fees are lower

will usually there is no scholarship or loan facility offered by the college that I know about but yes students who participated at national level events or who have good certifications or a very high marking in their 12th class can avail a scholarship will they have to fill up form and it is to be submitted and on the basis of that they will get some scholarship according to what they have done in their past

Extracurricular activities are also really necessary for any student to grow and we have a basketball court and constant basketball matches keep on going and at the same time we have a gymnasium we have a table tennis table and bats and balls there is a big ground where students of a play cricket apart from that street play is also a big part of the college the street play team of the college is really amazing and now have a nationwide recognition

The hostel infrastructure is really good the hostels are inside the college campus and one or two hostels are outside the college campus but these hostels are newly made and they are compatible with a 3 star or a 4 star hotel they are really good they are equipped with lift facility and they are surrounded with all the amenities as colleges write in the center of the city so you don't have to go for anywhere you are always surrounded with anything that you may need

the element a network of this college is really very strong the alumni are placed in such amazing companies are they have such a big impact on the society which have made this college what it is today and at the same time talking about senior students they are really helpful not only in studies but also in sharing their life experiences and telling us what to do what not to do which is really great.

Will the exam structure is pretty good and pretty usual I mean you are supposed to give two mid items and if you fail to give another one of them then you get an opportunity to appear in a third mid-semester examination and after dose mid-semester examinations you go through your internal viva and after your internal viva you have to give your semester examinations which are your main examinations so they consist of 70 marks and your mid sems consists of 20 marks rest 10 marks are divided amongst project assignment and your externals.

well getting admission in this college is pretty easy if you are a resident of Madhya Pradesh and you have a domicile the first step is to give the JEE examination once you appear in the exam and get your final listing through any MP online you can apply for this college and keep it in your and select the branches as per your priority list well if you are not from Madhya Pradesh or you do not have an MP domicile then there are very less amount of seats for you like in my course out of 60, 3reserved for people outside from MP.

The faculty of the college is very good we have well-qualified teachers who are very amazing and have good teaching skills as well as good communication skills there not only good teachers day are easily able to understand what and where a child needs help and this is really helpful and good. we have 60 students in chemical engineering and almost 10 teachers so that is a really amazing student to teacher ratio.
