- Academic load is a bit high as the college really prioritize it
- Very less holidays which makes life feel a bit hectic and overwhelmed
- Changing syllabus frequently so it's difficult to adapt
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is fine but a bit overwhelming as we need to clear a lot of papers. In a semester we have two internal exams. First internal exam will be conducted after two months of reopening and the next internal is gaped 2 months. After which we will be given 10 days as study leave to prepare for university exam and then at the end of the semester we need to clear the main final university examination.
Internships Opportunities
Basically placements are available to renowned companies like Apollo, cipla, Dr.Reddys etc. Fourth year of this course is mainly based on presenting project and publishing our work . They provide one month internship in the last semester
Placement Experience
For bpharm basically our college provide placements in industry fields were the initial period will be tough as it take our effort and skills to thrive. Bpharm has wide range of placement options as the course covers vast areas of pharmacy
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year I was asked to pay total 167000 as tution fees which included all other primary fees including uniform, medical card etc. In second year the fees reduced to 140450 excluding the extra other fees which we already paid in first year. For the coming two years the tution fee is the same.
Campus Life
I'm not so happy with my campus life as management prioritize more on studies which is a bit overwhelming. Only fewer fests are conducted that too in limits. Mainly academics is the first priority in our college
Admission
I study in Amrita School of Pharmacy, Kochi. I basically applied for an entrance examination conducted by amrita university and according to your performance in that examination they will be releasing a rank list by which the college will call the students eligible for admission for the particular seat opted
Faculty
There are basically enough facilities in our college for each course. Teachers are really supportive academically and otherwise too. Most of the hod's are nice and very helpful. There are 2 internal papers for each subject in a semester and one final university exam for each subject including non cgpa subjects
