University curiculum

The positive thing about the university is its rules and regulations. One cannot go beyond the rules and regulations formed by the upper authorities at the university. The negativity is that of the hostel facility provided by the college.

Entrance Exam, Interview

The course curriculum at the university is good. University course depends on CBCS system. CBCS stands for Choice Based Credit System in which credits are provided for each subject. The choice of subjects in the course is good.

About internship is considered the college does not provide an internship. But if someone wants to take an internship he/she could be advised by the university from where he/she could take internship training. The overall experience at the university is good.

Placements and job opportunities are good at the university. Many companies visit the university to fill the vacant job positions in their companies. The company takes many persons with them and provides them a job at a time.

In the university many events are conducted like that of plantation day, blood donation camp, Village visit, Camp visit, Moonstone (is the annual fest, which is celebrated at a grand level in the university).

The fee structure in the university is feasible in comparison to other colleges like Prestige institute or Symbiosis, etc. The university charge as much as a normal person could pay as a fee. The fees charged by the university for any course are up to the mark.

The scholarship facility is provided by the college for some students belongs to minorities. One can also avail of the loan at the university. Also, full fees should not have to be paid. The fees are to be paid in terms of installments.

Extracurricular activities include a lab. The university lab contains thousands of books in it. There are some clubs in the university like NSS/ Social club, Sahitiyik Club, Cultural club, Photography club, sports club, etc. which provided skills other than academic skills.

The hostel facility in the university is not good in my opinion. More emphasis should be given towards hostels. But other infrastructural facilities are at there best. The university had a big infrastructure. The university library has thousands of books to read.

The university had separate alumni of NSS Club, Sports Club, Social Club at which various tasks of there clubs are performed. The senior students in the university are of helping nature. They help juniors whenever their help is needed. They interact with the juniors to make us familiar with the university.

Exams are conducted semester wise. Under each semester there are three exams, i.e. Mid-sem 1, Mid-sem 2 and the final exam. Students are provided credit for there examination under the Choice based credit system.

I got admission here by simply filling up of admission form but If someone pursues a master degree like MBA the interview is conducted for the admission process. After admission, there is a 3-day induction program in university.

The faculty in the college are highly qualified professors who have a vast knowledge about the field under study. The professors provide live examples to know exactly what the situation is. They link theory with practice.
