HONEST THOUGHTS ON Dr. AIT

So My course is Industrial Engineering and Management, it's curriculum @1st year was really helpfull, it was related to Mechanical Stream as the IEM course is sub branch of mechanical engineering. The curriculum are the Applied courses where it prepares us for real world applictaions.

There are alot of internship oppotunities in our college where they provide the elligibilty from 1st semester to 8th semester. Microsoft, Toyota and more companies provide internship for students benifits and they provide certification.

From 7th and 8th semester the students become elligible for campus placements. TATA, IBM, Accenture, wipro, CGI, continental, amazon, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and over 70 more companies, the list keeps on going and in the year 2022-23 800 students got the placments. The highest package is 14 LPA and Average package is of 7.5 LPA. 80% Of students get palcements in our college. After my degree I'm planning to do masters in IEM supply chain.

Our college's Fee structure depends on different branches of BE/B.Tech. I'm from INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT branch where at 1st year we pay 60000, 2nd year we pay 51400, 3rd year we pay 51400, 4th year we pay 50000. These above fee structure includes tution fees, VTU fees, Lab Fees, and other fees. This fees structure is of Govt. seat for other category for management is around 118400 for 4 years which includes tution fee,VTU fees and others Mainly SSP scholarships are considered in our college. And even other types of government and private scholarships are also considered in our college.

There are lot of Annual and Technical Festivals are held in Dr.Amedkar Institute Of Technology namely MAITHRI, SANSKRUTHI, IMERGE, YANTROTHSAV, KALARAVA, AEROTSAV. etc. There are lots of books, journals and study materials available and free for the students and faculties. Our college entertains extracurricular activities like sports, art work, and NSS activities. Our college also provide NCC organisation and training groounds for them. There are also Clubs where the students runs them they help us to showcase oue talent and to join the new journey in student life where we can learn different types of skills for real world applications.

Hostel facilitates 2 person sharing, 3 person sharing, 4 person sharing rooms where the annual fees varies from 80000 to 100000. The meal quality is good and it is homely and the menu is different in each day breakfast idli, dosa, pongal, lemon rice, rice bath .etc and in afternoon they provide south indian meals and at night they give light foods. registration process is simple either we can do directly in college or through website

So I Applied Many colleges through KCET due to the high ranking like 124760 I did not get allotted in any other colleges. And also in my priority list Dr. Amedkar Institute of Technology was always at the top due their experience and the reputation that the collge had, they were the one of the top colleges in Karnataka when it comes to placements.And also Dr.Amedkar Institute of technology is nearer to my place compare to other colleges. So one of the reson to choose this college was for the Travel benificiary

The number of faculty and Administrative staffs are around 500 memebers. And the students are above 4000. The relationship between the student and faculty members are pretty good, friendly, and aprroachable. The faculty members will help and guide you through several ways. They clearly explain the concepts which they are assigned. And Dr. Rajeshwari.P mam is my one of the most favourite faculty member, who is a senior professor in Dr.AIT. I liked her because of her patience, interaction with students and the way she guides us all towards knowledge. IEM, which is a branch of engineering has the best faculty members in Dr.AIT. In Maths department some of the faculty members are impatient. There are 5 exams which are held in per semester which goes like 1st Internals, 2nd Internals, Make-Up Internals asper the VTU rules. Then comes the Lab Examination and then the semester end exams asper the rules of VTU. 5%-10% of students fails to clear the exams.

Our college allows the admission of students through entramce exams like KCET, COMEDK .etc which are education boards entrance examination. From that particular examinations the ranks are provided and according to the rank the seats are alloted to students with the help of 3 rounds in a systematic manner
