Course Curriculum Overview

4

Curriculum wise , in medical field that too being a government college, main objective of every student is to get good exposure to various number of cases , which is very good in out college , curriculum wise from our junior batches cbme curriculum is introduced which improved our academics also a lot

Internships Opportunities

4.5

After my internship training of 1 year in the guntur government hospital with a monthly stipend of 23600 , we will have many opportunities outside like government medical officer , civil assistant surgeon, medical officer on contract basis , in private hospitals also you will get many opportunities as duty doctor , but usually students opt to give neet of exam and get a pg seat in good government college

Fees and Financial Aid

My mbbs is completed as of now , joined in the year 2017-18, paid 10,000 RS per year ( very low since it's a government college). Other expenses include Hostel fees -15000 per year Refundable deposit for hostel -10,000 once at the beginning Mess food expenses -3000to 4000 per month Books cost varies from year to year with average cost of 10,000rs Government reimbursement is present (I didn't get it though)

Campus Life

4

Every year annual college fest will be conducted usually in the month of April , it goes on for 10-15 days ,every day each event will be conducted like drawing , essay writing, rangoli competition, singing competition, dance competition, stalls , traditional day , fashion walk , flash mob etc , sports meet also will be conducted in connection to it , sports will go on for 3to 4 days all the games both group and individual games will be conducted There is big library in our college which has over 200 medicine related books Classrooms are big and can accommodate over 200 students, but sometimes ventilation is not good overall classrooms and labs are adequate with good facilities

Hostel Facilities

5

Hostel is so peaceful with vast outdoor space , there 4 buildings constructed in 2014, each building with 3 floors , each floor with 10 to 12 rooms , each room will be given to 2 students , rooms are also spacy and very neat with adequate shelves Washrooms are common in 2 buildings and attached washrooms present in 2 buildings , good mineral water facility, mess inside the hostel only , also can cook in our own rooms no restrictions Mess food is low cost daily 175rs for breakfast , lunch and dinner And good quality only , every thing in the hostel is supervised by a doctor assigned as a warden and students are kept as secretaries , so any problem will be sorted in less time and transparently, which ensures safety and good environment in the hostel , there are 2 securities at the gate The hostel is provided only to the admitted students registration is done in the office room of the hostel by filling some basic details and the fee is 15000 per year

Admission

1st college I applied to is this college only , then in the order I filled other college options also , I got this college not by chance , but I preferred this college over others since it is near to my hometown with excellent academics and case exposure Admission process is same like all other government colleges , eligibility is should qualify neet UG examination and get good score in it , usually cutoff score is high and ranks below 5000 (AIR)for general category

Faculty

2

Faculty to student ratio - usually every department have 20 members approximately witn 200 students in each batch Sandhya mam in obg department - her knowledge in subject is vast and explains concepts very clearly Exams-2 internal exams once in 2 to 3 mon , then prefinal exam and a final exam at the end of the year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum that we follow us CBME curriculum. That reflects the clinical knowledge blended with the general knowledge of mbbs and this curriculum suits us in terms of many applications to the practice of medicine. The difficulty level is increased for the final exams but it is good for the competition that increased in these days.

My choice for this profession is that,it gives highest level of respect It is the Profession to save the lives of people The life which was taken away by the evil can be dragged back by the doctors The first year's dissection of cadavers,2nd 3rd 4th year's gives the experience to treat any case and to overcome the fear of blood No improvements needed in our college,as everything seems perfect Timing is planned by expertise, frequency of exams is very accurate and gives boost to remember every topic

Course Curriculum Overview:

1}the specific aspect that influenced my decision are my parent and relatives who hold the social stigma of being a doctor can give a secured life whereas nowadays doctor is one of the most vulnerable profession due to the incidents that are happening recently 2}the cirriculum is not great for students when it comes to the topic of facing real world situations as being in pvt.college doesnt exopse us to vasr amount of patients and mostly the graduates dont know how to deal with patients 3}the areas that should need an improvement is in imrpoving dissection hall facilities and posting lessers members in a sysytematic way to give time for each and every student a better exposure to the patients 4}the frequency of exams is adequate enough for an above avg student to cope up with the burdensome and vast syllabus but it might be diffucult for a below avg student and my perspective of the difficulty level is somewhat tough and stressful

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually MBBS is structured in such a way that it helps students step by step to learn.. it's anything but perfect .. I am not in a position to suggest but when we are exposed to this vast world in first year which is entirely new to us,it is difficult for us to adjust. We step by step start learning to accommodate in this new world and by the time we adjust and start reading first year comes to and end and then only running,we don't have time to atleast cover our basics so that we can continue for further 3 years.. basics when we aren't aware of we can't confidently go into next years syllabus, but if we try studying basics in the next year we will be again lagging the next year syllabus and cycle goes on.. Mental pressure is the most common that we all feel and for relieving we don't have anything,no cultural activity,no sports,nothing.. that is why many are getting on the wrong side and getting addicted to phone, movies, other addictions
