About my college

Positive remarks are teaching skills have improved and one of the negative remarks is, in 2012 during the college fest there was a big fight in the college, students from outside college fought with our college students and they destroyed all the college infrastructure.

Entrance Exam

The course which is present in this college is not bad. But I feel they should introduce many other courses like aero-engineering, architecture, etc. The course which is present in this college is CSE, MEC, ECE, CIV, ISE.

NO, our college won't provide an internship , we should to the company doorstep and ask for the internship. This made all the students feel very bad and all the companies very demanding 3k-10k for the internship.

For the 2015 batch that is in 2018, the placement and job opportunity was extremely high, there very many companies called and almost 40-50% of students got placed. But in 2017 our seniors gave a very bad review on the placement department Since they called only tech support and BPO companies.

In terms of organizing events, these college is very poor, because they always give a reason for not to celebrate like they don't have fund and budget is low. The events which we have organized our department fest, college fest (vibes), Ganesha Chaturthi, Karnataka Rajostava. This college is very poor at conducting sports events.

I think the fee structure is feasible for ppl who come from entrance exams, they have to pay 50k for the CET and 15k-16k for college. But for the management ppl, I think it's very expensive, the have to pay 1-2L for each year.

I have not applied for any loans for my college fees, but I have applied for the scholarship which is given by the government and not by out college, I don't think our college is providing any scholarships to there students.

Extracurricular activities are very poor at this college. And sports activities are very much poor in this college. They won't entertain sportsperson and they don't have a good sports teacher. recently they have joined a new sports teacher, but we don't know how good he is.

Since I didn't use the hostel infrastructure, I can't give the right feedback in this. But as my friends who stay in the hostel they blame the hostel food, they won't get the right food they need and the quantity also won't fill their stomach.

Yes alumni students will appear in department and college fest and they join us and Every time they meet us they will tell there 4yrs experience in this college .ya they have helped us a lot by telling to which faculty we should be friendly and to which faculty we should be scared of.

Recently all the exam structure of VTU University has changed , they have introduced camera facility in all the exam rooms and in terms of the syllabus they have introduced the CBSC scheme, in which the subjects are divided into modules and it is compulsory to study all the modules for the exams, but in previous scheme it was in terms of parts and there were 8 parts I which students have to write any 5 of them.

After the 3rd round of selection of the college, I got this college only, and for the admission process I went with my father to see the infrastructure of the college, it was not as I was expecting but I had no choice. I took my 10th and 12th marks card, CET order copy (entrance exam), and many other required documents. And I went to the admission office, so politely they welcomed me and in the very big happy face they were communicating with me, but this kind of behavior I couldn't find after few months of college.

The faculties are excellent in terms of teaching and interaction with the students. But the main problem is the management won't treat them good, they won't pay their salary on time. Due to this may of our good teachers are leaving our college.
