Merit List

Mechanical Engineering is a course well prepared for future placement and detailed Engg study. With the course, we study different machine operations, machine jobs, etc. All we are taught several designing software like CAD CAM CAE. Which helps our designing perspective. Thus a well set course curriculum and well managed too.

There are placements every year for final year students so they can get a good platform. Also, implant training is arranged for 2nd and 3rd year students so as to develop a better view of the industry. Many industries visit the college for hiring students offering good packages.

We celebrate all festivals as well as different events every year. College gathering is organized every year. The traditional fest is conducted. Festivals like the Ganpati fest, Shiv Jayanti are celebrated by all. Also, various events are conducted like robo race, box cricket, etc.

The fee structure depends on the caste and category of students. The SC/ST students have to pay a fee as low as 7000/8000 yearly. Whereas the general category students have to pay 80,000/90,000 per year. Thus this difference is not accepted by all but can't deny it though and pay the fee.

Not by the college but the government does offer scholarships according to the caste. The sc/st students are offered scholarships. The general category students get EBC scholarship. Thus get half of the tution fees back. The college helps in providing an education loan does it is easy to get one.

We have some great computer labs. Our mechanical workshop has the best in the class CNC machine. The lathe machines are well maintained. The drawing halls are equipped with drawing tables so it's easy for us to keep on working.

The hostel is well maintained . Proper rooms, as well as proper food, is provided. The drinking water facility is good and clean. Students get free wifi so as to get extra notes and edu Vids. Thus for facilities and maintainance, I will rate it 8/10.

The alumni meet is arranged every year. Thus we get a chance to interact with our seniors and pass out students. Even the seniors are helpful and friendly. They always encourage us to do something new and even help us in our project works.

Exams are conducted semester wise. Before the semester exam, there are class tests taken by the college so as to make students prepare well for the exam. The semester exam is held after the sem ends and decides the progress of the student.

I completed my polytechnic and with the merit score, I got admission through CAP. I first filled the admission form with all the details online. Then according to our choice, we filled the college preference. The college we needed admission in. Then through merit score, I got admitted to the MIT college.

The faculties are friendly and always ready to help. They guide us in every possible way. While project works they help us understand the need for the project and guide us through. They teach in different ways so every single of us understand the concept.
