Course Curriculum Overview
I choose B.E Mechanical as my course. Every concept in subjects are explained but not in a detailed way. Fails to ignite the individuals over the concepts. Only classroom explanation no smart class. Good facilities are provided for labs. Overall a fair learning experience.
Internships Opportunities
Yes, the college provides internships for students in semester holidays. But some internship that college provides is payable, we have to pay money for internships. They provide internship, not for all students, it is based First come first served.
Placement Experience
They provide fair placement and job opportunities. They provide more IT oriented job opportunities than department vice. I am mechanical only two mechanical company has come for placements even after placement there some issues between college and company they haven't called the selected candidates in placement.
College Events
Recently only the college had started to celebrate cultural events. They will conduct many national conferences to display your project ideas. They conduct some workshops and course oriented training. They arrange some guest lecturers for some subjects.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees structure is feasible. They get only Anna University recommend fees for counseling students, it would be around 55000 per year if he is a day scholar. And for management qouta, it would be around 1 lakhs per year. They will not compel you to take transport, canteen, and hostel it is individual students choice.
Fees and Financial Aid
They provide scholarships for Anna University rank holders during the course period. They provide or arrange a scholarship for students who are willing to do PG in foreign countries. They arrange loans for young entrepreneurs also.
Campus Life
Very good labs facilities are provided. They give less importance to extracurricular activities and sports. Fewer sports materials are available in college.there is no proper sports trainer in college.
Hostel Facilities
The college has good hostel infrastructure and facilities. There is about 4 men's hostel and facilities and food are provided according to the fees structure. The AC room hostel is also available. 1 ladies hostel. hostels and rooms vary according to fees.
Alumni/Alumna
The college maintains a good alumni network and arranges alumni meets regularly. There are good bonds between current students and alumni. Many students get the job through there senior students. They keep updating the details about college for alumni also.
Exam Structure
Semester Exam is according to the Anna University recommend exams. They keep more tests during the course periods. Actually, 1 cycle test per 3 weeks gap and more of our time spent on writing tests regularly.
Admission
I got this college by Anna University Counseling. My cut off was 178 and by counseling, I got this College. After the seat allocated in counseling and got the allocation letter, I went to the college it's a one day process, I paid the initial payment and got admission in college.
Faculty
There are some good faculty in college but not many. They prefer faculty based on caste rather than knowledge. Faculty keep on changing for one subject itself, for my SOM subject I had 3 faculty. For some important subjects, they provide not experienced, faculty.
