Likes
- College campus is 18 acres . So it is good enough to rome here and there.
- All amenities like sports ,internet ,canteen,cafes is within the campus.
- Faculty is qualified and good . Teaching is above average.Classes are fully ac centralised.
Dislikes
- Attendence like 75% is mandatory.They won't let you sit in exams.
- Freshers are treated like kids. They will close the hostel gates early.
Course Curriculum Overview
In first year everyone is taught the same syllabus whether you are in mechanical,ECE or Cse.Curricullum is outdated .I think it should be updated according to the market standards.Frequency of exams is in 1 or 1.5 months . Difficulty is easy to moderate.
Internships Opportunities
There is a internship and placement cell which helps in grabbing opportunities. Tcs , foreign companies provide internships.Studen should have desired skills and knowledge to get the internship.Projects and language skills are cherry on top.
Placement Experience
From 5th and 6th semester students can sit in placements and internships.Various companies visit the campus like tcs , Accenture , Cappegemini. Overall placement percent is 90%. Highest package is 58 lakhs and average is 6-8 lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 133900. The college is currently affiliated to aktu so there are University fees and exam fees approx 7500.There are also FW seats for Good percentilers in jee mains i.e. 93.Fees is same for all the category students Financial schemes are available for needy students of they fulfill the required criteria setup by aktu.
Campus Life
There are various festivals and festa organised by the college like aurora , sports fests like cricket ,football ,volleyball .There are 13 social groups in which you can join. There is also a group Called huhc which teaches and educates poor students.Classes are fully ac centralised and have a projector Libraries have all kinds of books from fiction to autobiographies from research to knowledge.
Hostel Facilities
I have taken hostel. Fees is 140000.Food is good enough and you won't be able to complain .Menu is very diverse and fits to every student .AC and non AC rooms are there. Rooms have almirah table and chair .You need to come to college and register for the hostel early otherwise rooms get sold out.
Admission
I took direct admission through my jee percentile although most students are from counselling . I listened good reviews from the people about the college and I thought of taking admission into akgec and kiet through direct but they didn't gave me .
Faculty
There are 3 Sts in a semester out of which top 2 are selected for internals. There are labs exams ,practicals quizzes . University exams is 100.Faculty ratio is 1:70.Course curriculum is relevant and irrelevant at the same time.
