Remarks

The positive thing which I got from our college is the ability to be independent since I was living far away from home and college taught me many things, Negative side is that the college needs some room of improvement in infrastructure, facility hostel in the campus itself and also should conduct many events.

Course Curriculum Overview

1.5

The curriculum is based on anna university syllabus, so as you all know engineering is quite tough, from my point of view I found it quite tough and tedious, no industrial real time exposure was given to me.

Internships Opportunities

Since I had some backlogs in my college, I had no experience in internships and I was not allowed to sit for placements, but quite a few of my friends have attended internship I guess so but not quite sure of the stipends.

Placement Experience

1.5

If you don't have any backlogs or arrears you have good placements and job opportunities during the final year of your course, you will many campus interviews coming during the last semester of your college, if you suppose you have arrears you will have very little opportunities for placements.

College Events

0.5

The college conducts only cultural and sports day to the best of my knowledge during my four years of tenure in that college. No other events will be celebrated in our college. This is very negative from the college side. One can't expect any other events being celebrated after joining the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure depends whether you joined by counseling (merit list) or management suppose if you joined by the merit list I paid as per anna university norms but if you joined by management fees totally relies upon the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

During my four years in college, I had only one scholarship. I hardly remember the name of that scholarship, I applied for the scholarship money during the 2nd year of my college. The money credited in my account for the remaining two years in the month of Feb.

Campus Life

1

Extracurricular activities, sports our college supports these things only to an extent. No proper facilities are provided by our college for sports. But if you are talented you can showcase your talents during sports day or cultural.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

The infrastructure of the college is very poor before I joined a college that is in 2014 the college had only 2 buildings at the end of my fourth year the college had 4 buildings, I guess the college needs still more improvement in infrastructure and facilities in coming years.

Alumni/Alumna

I think the college only recently have recently started an alumni network while I was in the college no alumni network was active, but seniors of our college are friendly and helpful in all manners.

Exam Structure

Exam structure of our college totally depends upon as per anna university regulations, moreover, the college conducts three unit test for all subjects per semester and also a model exam for all subjects before the final semester exam.

Admission

I got admission in this college through Tamil Nadu counseling held at Anna University Chennai, since I am from Trichy I wanted to study in Chennai so I wanted to find so college in Chennai so through counseling I go this college.

Faculty

2.5

The faculty of our college is not so good and at the same time not so bad too. they are average so professors are friendly and many others are strict but all of them are quite knowledgeable. It differs from professors to professors the way they teach to students.

Specific schedule is not followed in college regarding the academic and co curricular activities. Sudden decisions will be taken by the management which is a bit difficult for the students and faculty too. There were times where faculties are fed up of management rules and decisions.

Placement Experience:

1.) Placement begins from the pre-final year and we are allowed to apply for companies from the final year. 2.) Around 70% of the class gets placed in reputed companies with an average CTC of 4-8 LPA. 3.) Along with core biotech companies, many IT companies are also hiring students at a very decent package. 4.) I plan to pursue a master's after this course.
