Our beloved college VVIET

I choose Electrical and Electronics course because I was influenced by my father, as he is working in the government sector, KPTCL, CESC. This made me to thought even I have to become like my father and succeed in life. But the college atmosphere were so good and built in labs and so on which made motivated me to move with the course. Electrical and Electronics course is meant to be the toughest course in the engineering, but if we focus on how things work on real time, electrical is the most necessary thing in every day to day life, everyone need electricity for various works like lighting, home appliances, working in office with laptops, PC, and so on. Electronics is also the major thing used regularly, we can see electronic work in mobile phone, Television, remotes, signals and systems and so on.

There were many free interships offered by our college like internship in Keynes, KPTCL, GIS station, but I joined for paid internship at Lahari with the amount of 5000. That was very informative and knowledgable and was a good experience with all the faculties and industrial visits. Lahari is located in hebbal industrial area a government certified industry were the most of the electronic products and goods manufactured are tested under different circumstances and after approval let to the market.

The students become eligible for placement on final year, they have to maintain their grad points in every semister about 8 for a good package. Even some times grade points level down in front of skills and other courses made externally, so skill development is most important. Some of the companies like Wipro, L and T, Isro, Tech mahindra, Skanray, Keynes and so on were their on campus. But our many faculties help every student who is need of a job, with every possible off campus placements. Placment department are trying their best for all skilled, top rank and low rank students for placements.

Our beloved college Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and Technology (VVIET) is one of the top colleges in Mysuru, Karnataka. Beside top collges like JC and NIET, Vidya Vardhaka Engineering college is best and comes our college VVIET. The year wise fees is about 85300 for students under KCET and management seat is around 120000. I joined the college on 2021 and graduated on 2024. It was a really great experience with the college and faculties are much supportive for every academic activities and their guidance is such a inspirational that every one will get a proper knowledge and proserity. For SCST the scholarship is about 60000 including hostel fees, and for general category it is about 18000 to 20000. There is merit seat provided for many top rank students.

I can proudly say I studied in this college because of the good atmosphere and environment, friendly lecturers and staffs, good maintained labs and class rooms, students are disciplined well and ragging is completly banned and every one are mature enough not to perform that thing. There is a group called Vistara for extracurricular activities, events, comptations, programs and many other department based exhibitions and so on. Sports is conducted ebery year with the sports volunteers with all plans and sport equipment and prizes.

I choose this college because 4 years back I heard about the college is very good and excellent in all academics and programs conducted to the students, I heard about the college by seniors and it even have a good atmosphere. When I got to know about the college I went to take a visit and all faculties and our department gave me and my parents a warm welcome and showed us the campus, labs, classes, that represented the college's culture.

All the faculties in every department are quite good but in electrical department every faculties are student friendly and teaching is too good. Students can approach the lecturers any time in the campus for any doubts and clarification, they clear the doubts nicely. When I was in the college Dr. Shamala N was the HOD of our electrical department and one of the oldest and best lecturer is Dr. Manjunath B. He is best regarding teaching, decipline, providing good environment and he has taken the responsibility of every student's activity and academic progress. The internals and externals were based on VTU rules and regulations, there were total 3 internals and 1 external exam in the every semisters. The internals were conducted by the college department itself with their own prepared questions which were easy and external exams conducted were the questions given by VTU all over the Karnataka with same question paper.
