The curriculum is the best part of the college. For the first semester you are assigned the courses and you are compulsorily asked to attend all of them. But from second semester its the student who designs his curriculum. The student has his/her full liberty to design teb curriculum, the subjects that he needs or not . Any extra minors to be attended, it is fully upto the student. The liberty to design and choose your curriculum makes students be more handy and more into networking with seniors and other facilities. The resources provided by the college is the best. Best libraries and best computer department to be ever seen.

My course deals with overall development in my field of information Technology and along with some parts of electronics as a mandatory part for every student and dealing with multiple programming languages. There are scholarships for those who have received under 50 ranks in the VITEEE exam.

There are many clubs in the college and you are free to join as many as you want. There are generally two major fests in the college. One is called graVITas and other is Rivera. They are the symbol of VIT's multicultural nature and to give the best to the world. The Library here is the best library of the state and has all books a person needs. You are give access to library and in the digital website of library you can issue your books, renew, return and do many more stuff. This library has the biggest book of the world. The facilities in the laboratory are top notch. They use the most morden equipments and facilities. All the students are give equal access to the facilities. Extracurricular is a best part of college. Clubs of VIT organise their events on the regular basis and participation is open for all. VIT itself also organises different sports events every once in a while to keep students active in all fields except studies.

The reason to choose the college are multiple. The exposure of this college is different from the college near your hometown. You need a daily struggle to survive here and once you get used to it, you are unbeatable. This college has world class facilities and equipments which sometimes are never fulfilled by other colleges. They give complete opportunity to students. If you want to do research, you can sure as well do that. You want to publish a paper, college has your full support. They provide equal opportunity to everyone but all you need is to shine better, they identify your talent and they take you to the top. I tried for IIT and NIT but after rejection there's a sign of hope when it comes to VIT. Here they are better than many IIT and NIT. They have their own examination called VITEEE. If you qualify this exam and with a good rank you are eligible for admission in best departments of this college.

Here they follow a distinctive method of FFCS(FULLY FLEXIBLE CREDIT SYSTEM). this system enables the students to choose their courses and faculty by themselves and they have full liberty to make their own time table. Examinations are a basic part of college. Whereas other colleges take 2-3 months to take first examination for students. VIT takes an exam within a month of course commencement. Thsi enables them to take more frequent tests to develop a students mentality towards examination and competition.
