- Though the campus is not that big the infrastructure is quiet good enough and they are constructing some other things in campus
- Some Faculties try their best to teach and give us easy way to learn things
Dislikes
- Students lack social interactions with teachers and mentors. Faculty only focus on syllabus but never understand the mindsets of students
- The campus canteen which was doing well when i was 1st year but now the canteen function is very poor with poor maintainance
- And they conduct social activities very few times. Before we had ncc teacher and now he left the college and we lack skilled teachers. Some teachers just do plain teachings without any deep subject knowledge
Course Curriculum Overview
The college provided aptitude class for the placements but they should provide us knowledge about real worls problems And proper skills needed for the future of our career They make us to do certification courses in infosys springboard which are kind of good but they should suggest the proper course to learn They can improve they curriculum by initiating real world problem classes and good skill developing sessions
Placement Experience
As per my seniors information placement do occur but not for all students and students who are with less CGPA can't think of placements so its very difficult to get placement But this time i dont know what is about my seniors placements and hope soon i will get to know about them
Fees and Financial Aid
Hi Im Benny Hinn R, So telling about my college Sri Venkateshwara College of Engineering which is near Vidyanagar,Bengaluru I got into this college by merit i.e CET my rank was 63000 and by general category as Christain i got CSE Cyber Security Fee: I paid 1,10,000 for 1st year and 1,13,400 for second year and next I may have pay the same.. They included skill lab fee of 5000 for second year And they are yet to start that thing Fee may differ for other categories through CET And if it through Management they take 15 lakhs for CSE CYBER SECURITY as per my information i got Scholarship: Scholarships also differ by by different category as i got 20k SSP Scholarship.. And other SC students have also got 30k to 35k...
Campus Life
To tell overall experience its kind of average college where most of the things are underdeveloped and most of the social activities and other things they are trying to develop Its like a college which is in developing state Still 3 more years to go in this college Hope changes may occur soon
Admission
The reason to get into this college was that i belong to general category with 63k rank in CET I tried many other colleges like East point, Dayananda Sagar , Nitte meenakshi of all kinds of CSE Branches but i couldnt get any of them till the last round and at last i was selected to this college of this course
Faculty
Faculties just try to finish their syllabus they dont have any social interactions with students Teachers like my Mathematics sir who is good at subject knowledge and DDCO sir also has good knowledge but they lack social interactions with students And the only teacher i liked was our Data Structure teacher Gurudevappa sir..who was very interactive in every class....and had good knowledge in everything And in our college we lack of few teachers for subjects like English during 2nd sem of 1st year And coming to exams they are almost kind of ok and easy but its difficult to pass in re exams as per my friends....
