Entrance Preview
I had given PGCET and KMAT entrance test. KMAT exam is for both MCA and MBA. Its simple test with reasoning and maths.
Course Curriculum Overview
3 years each year there are two semesters. Exam is conducted every semester and after exam holiday of 1 months is provided. Every semester you will have one optional paper to select from.
Internships Opportunities
I got internship in Aricent technologies and during my time there was no stipend paid. Prior to my batch there was a stipend of 10,000 paid to every candidate.
Placement Experience
Placements are good and more than 30 companies visited during my time. Once a student is placed he,she cannot appear in any other company other than the dream company.
College Events
Kalanjali is celebrated once a year and college invites other college to participate in the event. Prizes are given to the winners. Apart from that there are some seminars,quiz conducted every month.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees were 70000 per year and hostel charges were 50000 per year. If a student does not want to stay in hostel he/she can stay outside also.Scholarship is provided to student on merit basis.
Fees and Financial Aid
Loans are provided from Kotak Mahindra bank. Scholarship is provided to student on merit basis. Student can even take loan from other banks college gives the detailed expenses to the bank periodically.
Campus Life
We have sports like cricket,Foot ball,Basket Ball,Volley ball debates are conducted. Lot of extracurricular activities are conducted by the department.
Hostel Facilities
They have two varieties of hostels. Deluxe PG hostel Normal hostel Deluxe hostel is 50,000 per year Normal hostel is 35,000 per year. Food bill is separate and to be paid every month. Food is mostly south indian and quality is ok type.
Alumni/Alumna
Alumni network and senior students are helpful and they do visit the college on every alumni day. They share there experiences and guides the students they even take pre placement classes on demand.
Exam Structure
Labs twice a week exam includes one main university exam per semester and three internal tests per semester 50 marks are allocated per subject for internal test and 100 marks are allocated for every main exam per subject.
Faculty
Teachers are good every teacher is either M.PHIL or M.TECH. Classroom teaching is provided with 3 internal test every semester. Out of the three test best two out of three is taken and average of it is taken.
