Course Curriculum Overview
All the courses provided in this university are good. They provide good subjects for electives as well as core. Choosing of electives start is the 4th year. Both BA subjects and LLB subjects are taught. The difficulty level of exams is medium.
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are provided but there are no placements. Only less packages placements are there. But internship opportunities are good. They gave opportunities under firms, super court advocates, Advocate on Record, corporate offices, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I took BA LLB course. The Tution fee is 3 lakhs per annum, when I joined. But now it has increased (about 50,000) more. Caution fee is Rs. 50,000. They also provide scholarships based on CLAT score, Intermediate score, etc. I got scholarship of 25% which is 75,000 per annum. To maintain the scholarship student need to have 8.0 CGPA. Also, this University provides a Benevolent fund for those students who are facing financial crisis. It provides about 100% Tution fee and 50% hostel fee, for which 7 CGPA to be maintained.
Campus Life
Another positive thing and which I like the most of this college is , it has various clubs, committees in which student can develop his/her social connections and more. There is a legal aid committee, literary and debating committee, pro bono club, etc. Law library has all the books and university gave online resources too.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are good. They provide 2 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. Both are comfortable and spacious. Also it is affordable. There are no nearby PGs or hostels near the university. Meals are not that good. Less spicey and less likely to eat.
Admission
This university provides much more courses than other university I applied for. Also this university felt safer to me comparatively to the others. The security here is good. The admission process is you can apply online, and based on your clay score, intermediate score, etc, you get a scholarship and get admitted, interviews will also be taken.
Faculty
The faculty for law here is very good, few of the faculty members are really excellent and also guides in competitions very well. The structure is mids of 25%, internals 25% and end sem 50%. Very few fail to clear the exams. Law being a difficult course, students tend to fail. Course curriculum is very helpful too.
