Likes
- The campus is small but still there are some of the spaces to chill where teachers dont come over and
- The canteen food was really very good and also really very affordable
- teachers are very supportive , they do explain the issue over and again if you ask about it again.
Dislikes
- mobile phone is not allowed in the campus
- there is no fresher or farewell party organised by the college
- dress code is too boring , too pale and also during exams you are not allowed to wear covered shoe , you do have to come in slippers even if its winter time
Course Curriculum Overview
Course was too vast to learn for each semester , mostly i had to drop one or two chapter in each of the subject , They should lessen the course for each semester but yes there are tests done before exams for 20 marks so it prepares us a lot and also its added in final scoresheet.
Internships Opportunities
Most of the internship were available for BBA BCA students the commerce section had lesser opportunities , but those who were from bca or bba were earning good amount it was someherw around 1000 for a day ao it was quite reasonable for a student.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for 3 year bcom was quite reasonable it was around 20,000 for each year where for 2 year it was around 22,000 so for total 3 year it will be 65-67000 at max , and also there was program of scholarship for the students who are having low income so one can apply for scholarship and adter applying for scholarship i got scholarship amount for 2 year which was half of the fee paid for the year.
Campus Life
In terms of clubs , there were some social clubs available but i never joined them so i dont have much clarification , most of the social activities were carried out by the BA students because they had their subject according to those clubs available , sci and commerce were not actively participating
Admission
NPGC is the kost prestigious college of lucknow and also it was among top college for commerce , there are around 120 seats for regular and around 300 seat for self finance , chances of self finance seats are more , even i got the self finance seat , the exam is like any other competetive exam which has reasoning aptitude general awareness and somewhat of the stream line you have came from.
Faculty
The commerce faculty is really very good in terms of teaching and also in terms of friendliness , we had the best law teacher he was the one who explained so well that we did not even had to mug up everything , If i talk about the marking scheme then its not too strict and neither way too lenient , if i am writing a lot of things on my own then i was able to score somewhere around 60 out of 100 , chances of failing the exam is low because in our whole class there were just 2 students who couldn't clear the exam.
