Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum in the Institute of Management Studies, DAVV is really impressive. The timing of the college is also really convenient allowing us to set off after 1 pm. The exams are moderately difficult.

My college organizes many internship drives in which different companies comes and held different rounds of GD, PI for internship recruitment. Some of the companies were Globe capitals, Arihant Capital, etc.

Placement Experience

The placements are really good in IMS, DAVV. Almost 75% students gets placed in the placement process. I received a package of 20 LPA. Arcesium and Deloitte are one of the best firms to recruit from our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The semester fees are approximately 40000-45000. The fees includes the tution fees, caution fees, lab fees, examination fees. Scholarships are available for Sc, st, obc, along with girls below poverty line.

Campus Life

Their are many cultural events and fest organised bt the college. Few of them are Brand Bazaar, Pratispardha, Spandan, Euphorbia, etc. Pratispardha one of the biggest sports event. Brand Bazaar is a marketing competition.

Admission

I chose this college as it was in my city also the placements are really good. I applied only IMS through the CUET PG exam, the admission in MBA are also through the CMAT exam. The cutt off for CUET PG was almost 200 marks and for CMAT was 99 paercentile for the year 2023

Faculty

The faculty students relationship are really positive. They are always guiding students to the best of their capabilities. Dr. Kapil Sharma is one of the finance faculty at IMS, DAVV. Within the semester their are 3 internals and one ebd semester exam.

The experience with Sage University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The fees structure and placement made me tool admission in this univeresity as in bhopal their are very few good options and Sage is one of them. The curriculum prepares you quit well for real word applications and provides a way for further acadmic pursuits only if you are attentive in the class. I don' think that there is a need for any improvement in teaching area as the teachers are very well qualifield but the only improvement they need is in management. If we talk about frequency of classes then they are quit frequent and timings are also very reasonable.

It was nice to recall whatever experience we had in starting our journey

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester only students are eligible to sit in the campus placement. It was an engineering college therefore multiple companies visited to hire for both engineering and mba students. I got three offer from visited companies . I got two Internship offer and one job offer. 1st offer for Hiteshi Infotech as Business Development Intern , 2nd offer for Study Metro as Marketing Intern. And 3rd my final job offer at Collabera. Generally the highest package goes till 12 LPA. During the tenure more than 300 company visited the college . And every students got the offer. Even the placement also take care about every students. They also make sure that each student much have an offer in their hands. When I completed my studies , I gave many goveronment exam, I did preparation as well but didn't cleared any . Therefore I joined the company where I did the intership.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in the third semester of their college companies start coming for placement since then and the placement is continued till the end of the last semester top recruiters who visit the college for placement are Asian Paints Nestle ICICI Securities ICICI Prudential Amul Trident etc highest package offered to students is 12 lakh per annum and the average package ranges between 4 lakh to 5 lakh per annum almost 80% of students get good placement opportunities by the campus mostly the companies come for marketing or sales role very few companies come for finance and HR role.

Placement Experience:

The placement procedure in PIMR is effective and good. The institute placement cell lays great emphasis on the overall placement process and inviting companies in the college. The students are eligible to sit at placements from 3rd semester. There is rarely any company that visited the institute and haven't made any offer to the students. The highest package offered this year is of 20LPA, with average package being almost 5LPA. Almost 80% of the tsudents were able to secure offer letters at the end of their degree.

In total of 13 companies visited our campus and still are visiting as we are in our 4th sem List of reputated companies - Deloitte Aditya Birla chemicals Accenture Yash Technology Spectrum Zomato Mckenlie Rice Highest package - 17.5 LPA by Accenture Average package - 5.5 LPA 40-50% students get placed I am currently placed at Aditya Birla chemicals through campus itself and was offered a package of 10 LPA

Before finalizing my admission, I had shortlisted two other colleges: Indore Institute of Pharmacy (IIP) and SGSITS. IIP was a mid-level college, whereas DAVV was a better option as it is a reputed state university. SGSITS is a high-profile institute, but the cutoff was very high, and I could not secure admission there. I received a rejection from SGSITS but had an offer from IIP, so I ultimately chose DAVV for its academic reputation. Admission to DAVV is based on the CUET entrance examination, for which eligibility includes required subjects as prescribed by the university, followed by a centralized counselling process. I didn't apply for anyther colleges other than the one I am in I didn't get rejected from any colleges as I am a dropper so in my 12 th class I gave cuet and get selected for DU JMU and BHU but because of financial issues I could not make up to it The admission process of our college is state based counselling, the eligibility criteria is least to 60 % if seats are empty or 75% is needed to be eligible, cuet etc are accepted exams and overall admission experience is much easy as compared to other colleges...Read More
