Course Curriculum Overview
We have B.A and LL.B 5 year integrated course here. So the subjects are a blend of Humanities and Law. Earlier we used to have more subjects of humanities and lesser of Law but now we have just 1-2 subjects of Humanities.
Internships Opportunities
My college does not really provide us any internship, we all just keep checking the notice boards where they just inform us about the opportunities, contact numbers, and links. nothing really more than that.
College Events
There are many events celebrated in our college, some of them are, Intra Faculty Moot Court Competition, National Moot Court Competition, Intra Debate Competition, Model United Nations, Various kinds of Quizzes, Call for papers, Conferences, etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the regular batch is INR 10,000 annually and the same for the self-finance batch is INR 40,000 annually. In my opinion, the difference in fee between regular and self-finance 's batch is wide and vague.
Fees and Financial Aid
The faculty provides many kinds of different scholarships to economically weaker students, socially backward, minorities, girls and merit scholarships also to the first five topper students of each batch.
Campus Life
There is a good sports complex in the campus of Jamia itself. Also the faculty conducts sports fest which includes badminton tournament, football, cricket, table tennis, etc. Apart from that, there is a beautiful moot court rpom in the faculty.
Hostel Facilities
8/10 which is a good rating in my opinion. The hostellers are provided with good infrastructure and facilities including good food, facilties like Cctv, washing machines, Gym, library and many more such things.
Exam Structure
The faculty conducts semester wise examinations. For a student to pass the semester, he should pass the internal assessment and the external examination also. the internal assessment includes the 25 marks sessional exam, assignment and Viva, whereas the external examination includes the 75 Marks semester exam
Admission
I checked out the official website of Jamia which is www.jmi.ac.in so I got to know that the entrance forms are available and accordingly I filled up the form and noted down the date of entrance. There was prospectus provided in the website itself for the syllabus. Thereafter the lists of selected students merit and quota wise were uploaded on the website.
