Jims is a good college with a very good scope but needs a better placement to justify the fees and course. And also they’ll need a much better college campus to satisfy the students as the campus is very small.

Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum of PGDM from JIMS is very thorough and covers most of the skills required by a corporate professional. And besides the theoretical knowledge, Jims also focus on the practical learning of the students.
Internships Opportunities
Our college does provide us with internships. I haven’t got a chance to do an internship myself yet but from what I’ve been told many leading companies come to campus to give internship. Regarding stipend, the companies are giving good stipend.
Placement Experience
Jims has an average placement of 6 lakh P.A. and it further varies from specialization to specialization. CRMC of our college has been successful in bringing us opportunities from various sectors and companies.
College Events
We have various clubs like marketing, cultural, finance club, etc. and every trimester a club gets an opportunity to hold an event for the students in college. In addition, we have big scale events which include marketing conclave and e-submit.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Total fees of Jims PGDM 2018-2020 batch is 6.75 lakh. And it is slightly expensive if compared to the other b level business colleges. A fee of 5.75-5.5 lakh would be very justified and would have been much more attractive
Fees and Financial Aid
Our college gives scholarship to the students which have secured a certain number of marks in MAT/CAT/any other entrance exam approved by Jims + certain number of marks scored in Jims + marks scored in graduation. Depending upon the marks scored in above our college grants scholarship
Campus Life
College labs are average. There is no ground in the college so the scope of sports activity in the college is very limited but our college holds sports meet by renting a sports ground for various sports. We have 2 canteens which offer good snacks.
Hostel Facilities
I am not a hosteller but my friends are and in their opinion the infrastructure is good and they are provided with every facility. For the food, they are given buffet in college. And for the transportation, they are given cabs and buses from the hostel to the college.
Alumni/Alumna
Jims enjoys a good alumnus connect and the majority of the alumni recommends Jims as a post graduate college. Most of the seniors are good and very helpful in helping out the juniors regarding various things related to college.
Exam Structure
We have exams at the end of every trimester. And in addition to that, we have internal exams which are held on the convenience of the students i.e. their general majority. Besides exams, we are marked on the basis of assignments, presentations and etc.
Admission
I had to appear for MAT exam. Then I applied for the GD/PI in Jims. Then I recurved an invitation letter from the college. Then I had to give GD/PI in Jims and afterwards, I got selected and I was asked to deposit the initial fees and my admission was confirmed.
Faculty
The faculty is greatly experienced and is always there for the students as a teacher. The faculty is highly knowledgeable but they are rather old in age for the upcoming generations which sometimes lead to differences in the opinion.
