Remarks

The sports ground is not properly managed and also they don't provide good sports equipment for students to play. I think that's all about the negatives of the college. Overall the college is good.

Entrance Exam

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's a wide course which contains various new technologies. As being a computer applications student, It is compulsory to know new programming languages and the course helps us to get deep knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide internships but we can work for many projects and we can represent them in many college fests. Also, they consider research work and publish our work if it's good. Also, we can work for various alumni students.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placements are one of the best in whole Bangalore region. More than 300 companies visit and the packages are quite attractive. For more details, you can visit the college website. I am yet to appear for placements as I am currently in 4th semester.

College Events

4.5

There are two events, one technical and one nontechnical. Technical one is known as PHASE-SHIFT and the nontechnical is known a BMSCE UTSAV. They both are organized every year and have numerous opportunities to showcase our talents.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are different types of fees structure. One is for government seat candidates which are around 70k and other is for management seats which are around 1.95lakhs. It is quite feasible for getting admission in such a good institute.

Fees and Financial Aid

My college provide scholarship of 10000 rupees for the topper of the year. Also, there's a fee reimbursement for the students belonging to backward classes. There's an Option of loaning with Allahabad bank.

Campus Life

4

There are many labs in the college such as computer labs, faculty development labs, Data exploration lab, etc for benefiting the department. It has all the required systems with upgraded specifications for students to learn.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I don't live in a hostel but my friends tell that it's good and have all the facilities. The food is also well cooked and they have many things on their menu. The hostel rooms are usually available at the time of admission.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni usually visit college once in a month. There were several guys who came to the campus from outside the country to help the students and gave their industry experiences. Alumni's are very friendly and gives good advise.

Exam Structure

We have 2 theory internals and one lab exam for continuous internal evaluation which is of overall fifty marks and one final exam of 100 marks for semester end evaluation. Overall they both are merged to make final results and converted into grade points.

Admission

I appeared for an exam called PGCET. It's a state level entrance test for post graduation courses. I secured 381 ranks and I got this college in the counseling process. Then I reported to the college for fees payment and verify my documents.

Faculty

4.5

The faculties are fully qualified and help me with everything. They take proper classes and are gives us various assignments for our application understanding. Also, they are always available for us to ask doubts.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are average. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 2nd semester. Some companies visit the college and offer jobs in different roles. The average package is around 3-4 LPA and the highest package depends on the company. After completing my degree, I plan to get a good job and gain experience in my field

Placements are good...lot of my friends got placed. But it even depends on individual intrests. At starting you get paid less but later on experience u can earn more. In case if placement doesn't happen you will still have the chance to explore outside.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MCA course curriculum is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. It covers core computer science subjects such as programming, data structures, databases, software engineering, and practical lab work, which influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a strong foundation for both real-world applications and further academic pursuits. With the support of good and experienced faculty, concepts are explained clearly through theory, practical sessions, assignments, and projects. Exams are conducted on a semester basis with internal assessments and end-semester examinations. The frequency and timing of exams are appropriate, and the difficulty level is moderate. Students who attend classes regularly and follow faculty guidance can perform well.
