Well, my overall review about my college is positive and hope it improves in the coming years. Students from various places study here The teaching is okay. Sports are encouraged. Some of the lectures are supportive.

4 streams of courses are available. Electronics and communication was my option, the other 3 branches are civil engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science engineering. A wide range of options is available.
Internships Opportunities
Well! My college Coorg Institute of technology does provide internship options wherein we have to pay and to learn in companies. The companies provided for internship options are of AVERAGE level. I would rather say get yourself some influence and get an internship in a good company.
Placement Experience
Well we do have a placement cell wherein we get trained right from the second year in the placement classes we are told and taught about how to communicate with others, expressions, RESUME making and so on
College Events
Well in my college Coorg Institute of technology college day is celebrated grandly and we do celebrate all festivals And various events are also conducted prior to the college day! The college encourages the students on all parts.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is quite reliable and is comparatively less the difference between CET fees and management fees is only around 2000INR So the marks make you decide whether you get in through CET or management.
Fees and Financial Aid
As Coorg Institute of technology is located in Karnataka the Karnataka government comes in by providing a scholarship called karpas to engineer students and other private company scholarships are also given if you are eligible.
Campus Life
Well, the lab is good and well equipped. Sports is my field of interest so! From my experience, the support from the college side is quite okay ! But it a large area of ground wherein you can play! Indoor games are also encouraged.
Hostel Facilities
Coorg Institute of technology has hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The hostels are well located and its infrastructure is quite ok. I'm a boy so I would rate the food in the boy's hostel by 7/10.
Alumni/Alumna
Well, its friendly kind off environment out there! And yes senior students are helpful and friendly. As the college is away from the city it's situated around trees. People liking nature will like the place.
Exam Structure
My college Coorg Institute of technology is linked to vtu which is vishveshwaraiah technological University so the portions and exam structure is decided by them. The college does conduct internals and makes you write impositions
Admission
CET is one means to get into the college, you can get a seat even if your CET ranking isn't that good. I got admitted through management seat tho, as the only difference is around 2000INR. Decide based on your ranking.
