Entrance Exam

The course structure is good and has been recently updated under CBCS system which is much better than RGPV syllabus. They declare result very late ?? Actually, the problem is they declare result quite early. I still feel the course curriculum can get better by adding more practical lessons, so the students keep interested in what is being taught. Teaching is good, but the lack of practical knowledge can put off the interest. But the course curriculum also gives enough time for the students to prepare for other exams as they are not burdened 24x7 to focus only on college. Everyone gets equal opportunity to prepare for any Masters, gov. exams, etc. Also, lots of students parallelly go for GATE, CAT, GRE, TOEFL coaching, where they get discounts for being an IET student, as the students in IET are known to be smarter in a sense that they easily crack such exams and are now spread around the world.

The college is located in Indore that is coming up as the IT hub of central India. There is no dearth of internships in the relevant field of IT/ CSE for IET DAVV students. The placement cell is very active in supporting students in the process. I had heard from many of my seniors that they got some interns. But only a few students got this. Many times college itself provides intern to students like doing an admission, maintenance of the college website, etc.

Placements are decent.M ost of the good students opt for post graduation after the final year. Placement opportunity is good, most of CS students get placed, for core branches, there are less core company and most of them will get placed in Mass recruiter, however for cs, it and etc there are good companies and this year around 20 company visited campus and number of core companies also increased

Well, the biggest fest held in here is is AAKSHANK. It's the cultural fest of our college which is so dynamic and comprises day and night events. It held for 3 to 4 days. Night events consist of DJ nights, music concerts, etc. And day events consist of games and fairs. Another most important event is INVENTO which is a technical fest. One is our fashion show named MRIDAKSH. Many other events are also there as garba night, many competitions, etc.

Fee Structure is feasible, for my batch, it is about 72,000 for one year and for a hostel, it was 22000 for one year. it is economic than most of the private college in MP and you will certainly get the value for your money with awesome college life and various college events.

Well some of the students get the scholarship of government schemes, college doesn't give any scholarship, loan facilities are available but I don't have any knowledge about that you can ask inquiry about it when you go to fill in the admission process

Friendly environment leading you to experience some of the best days of your life worth cherishing. There are ample of opportunities in extracurricular activities with sports events being organized every semester by IET Sports Club. Competitions are held in Football, Badminton, Chess, Cricket, etc.

As the events on the campus are handled by students, there is a very strong bond formed between students of different generations. even when seniors pass out they are still in contact. They, in turn, provide a very helpful guide in what to do in the later part of life, telling us the pros and cons of everything. That's one reason, many students start preparing for GRE, GATE, CAT, SSC, etc because there are already seniors who have experienced it and there to guide you when you need them. Also because of the good bonding, it's easier to get in touch with seniors.

The exam structure is not so hectic. There is Semester exams and 3 midterm exams. Viva and labs extra. But it can be covered during college hours. Students get enough time to go to coaching for higher studies preparation and go for extracurricular activities, manage organize events and even take a break and chill out enjoy the weather in the beautiful little campus

I got admission through clearing JEE mains exam. For admission, you need a decent score in JEE Mains. After clearing JEE mains with I fill the MP DTE counseling conducted by mp government. After this, I got an allotment letter and I take admission.

Faculties are experienced. I don't know about much faculties but some of them which had taught me are so intellectual and have really very good knowledge faculty of mechanical and electronics and communication branch is very good than other departments, the faculty take classes daily and few teachers are very helpful in external Viva , they won't judge you on the basis of one day performance of viva , and if you have attended the classes and the faculty know you, you will get good marks in practical.
