Overall college review

In my opinion, college is good in all aspects other than sports. The college lacks sports facilities otherwise the academics, coding culture and the placements of the college are very good. It consists of a good infrastructure regardless of the small area which it has.

Merit List

The course curriculum is well designed as per the government rules and new syllabus. The college regularly updates the course as per government guidelines and ECE students are also given good lessons on coding and many coding subjects are introduced regularly to them.

Yes, my college does provide internship to students. Well, it does not provide a paid internship but at least one could gain some knowledge while doing so. The internship is mostly like to be a lab assistant. The person is supposed to help the students of the first year in their coding labs like an assistant teacher.

The placements of the college are the main reason why students are attracted to college. This college has 100 percent placement records over many years and the highest placement ever recorded is 42 lakhs per annum whereas average placement is about 4 lakhs per annum. Many big companies like Amazon, Airtel, Samsung come in the college for placements and a person studied from the college has good job opportunities worldwide.

The college has many events across the year. It has a technical fest that has many competitions and EDM night at the last. Another technical event is CyberShrishti where different competitions are organized by the students of the college and many colleges compete in the same. The college has Garba night and Jiit unplugged which are fun events to enjoy. On the other hand, there are many small events for college students to show their technical skills.

The fee structure is just a bit less to expensive and a more to feasible. The college has a fee of 2.2 lakhs per year as the academic fees and if a student opts for campus accommodation, he has to provide an additional fee of 1.1 lakh as the hostel fees for the year. Other than this there are no other additional fees asked by the college.

Well, there sure is a scholarship offered by the college but no loan facilities are available by it. The scholarship comprises a reduced fee structure for those students who have a good rank in JEE Mains and whose annual household income is less than 1.5 lakhs per annum.

The college has good labs and well educated lab technicians but it does lack behind in sports and other extracurricular activities. The main reason is that it does not have a good field for the same. The college has a separate gym for boys and girls and also a separate Table tennis room but other than that it does not have a well constructed place for any other sport.

The hostel is quite good as compared to other private or government colleges. There is a different hostel for the freshers and a 19 floor building for the others. The rooms are well designed and have a balcony for every room and every room is equipped with ACs which work at night from 10 pm to 4 am. The hostel mess also provides a hygienic meal and it just tasted great. Just the dinner is not up to the marks, but overall it is healthy anyway.

The alumni and senior students are very helpful in this college. There is no ragging and the seniors regularly conduct workshops in different fields for the students which helps in gaining knowledge for both the seniors and juniors. Different workshops like android app development, robotics, IOT, PCB fabrication, photoshop and many more are being conducted by them.

The college conducts exams three times a semester namely t1, t2 and t3.T1 and t2 comprise of 20 marks paper which has a different course and t3 comprises 35 marks paper which contains the whole syllabus of the semester. If a student misses t1 or t2, there is a makeup exam for it while missing t3 make the student take a backlog in the subject which can be improved next year.

For taking admission in this college, first of all, a person has to appear for JEE Mains entrance exam and then fill up the counseling form for Jaypee Institute Of Information Technology and send the copy of the same to the institute, then appear at the counseling session and according to one's rank in jee mains he shall get his desired branch in the institute.

The faculty of the college is the overall average. The college regularly hires new faculty which has studied from high rated institutes like IITs and NITs.The faculty is also very helping in nature. Only some of those are quite lazy and irritating and just make the subject boring, on the other hand, some of them are just good as they can be.
