Likes
- The first and foremost thing I liked about this university was it’s campus . There are two real airplanes inside the campus.
- Further I like the faculties of this university. They are very intellectual and kind as well.
- Last but not the least I like how everyday there are multiple events happening inside the campus. Treasure hunts, dance competition, band playing , sports , celebration of festivals etc
Dislikes
- The management of this university is the worst. Like the system of attendance , exam , classes is very bad
- Next is there’s no elevator for students and the classes are at 5th floor . There are like 50 stairs between each floors that too huge ones
- The benches in the classroom have nails in them which once tore my trackpant , one of our teacher fell when he sat on the bench because it was loose .
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams are very easy . I don't find them difficult at all. Extra curriculums are also very nice there are many students from various universities who come to host events such as marketing mania , shark tank etc in our university. There should be an improvement in the management of the college as well as the attendance criteria.
Placement Experience
After completing 4 sems students are eligibile for campus placements. Companies including infosys , decathalon etc have visited. Almost 50% of students get placements and I plan on doing masters after getting my bachelor degree
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise fees for bba is 60000 and is a three year course . There are no extra fees in this course apart from this. Although if you get backlogs per subject you have to pay 600 to give the exam again. I haven't heard about any scholarships that this university gives.
Campus Life
Every festival is celebrated in the campus with great excitement. There are also various events such as dance off , singing competition, treasure hunt , marketing mania , shark tank etc . Recently they have started renovating the bathrooms and the classrooms as well . The library is filled with great books which you can rent and read or read there in the library itself. There are many clubs like fashion club , dance club , book club etc
Admission
I applied to Ahmedabad University and I got into it as well . I chose this college because it was very close to my house and is a well reputed university in Ahmedabad with an outstanding interior. The reason why I did not opt for this university is that the fees was very high and I did not feel 3.5 lakh per year was worth it to spend on bachelor degree. The admission process of my college was quite easy I just went and filled the registration form and paid the fees . The eligibility criteria was around 60% in 12th std .
Faculty
In our course there are 450 students and 40 faculties. There are mentors assigned to group of students and the faculties are quite approachable. My personal favourite faculties are Mr Dipesh Dasani , Miss Drishta Barot , Mrs Charmi Shah , Mr Parshwa , Mr Adesh . Faculties that I don't like include Dr Rajeshkumar Kiri . He is very biased to certain students and doesn't treat every one equally and is quite rude as well.
