Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course in hurry. But then I got to know it has a very good value. It is one of the course whose value can not go down. It is all about sample testing in laboratory. We get different types of patients sample which is to be examined in different methods or techniques.

Internships Opportunities

For course internship is provided in manipal only. Which I consider is a good thing. They provide a very good internship opportunity where best techniques among all the laboratories are used to test samples.

Placement Experience

I've heard placements are good in mahe.i don't know much about placement.but alumni of mahe has gud reviews about mahe placements.so I believe it has so many connections that it will surely provide good placements to us.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yearly fees for Bachelor's in medical laboratory technology in manipal academy of higher education:- 1st year-131000 2nd year-121000 3rd year-121000 My College does provide scholarship but I don't know more details about it.

Campus Life

Campus is one of my favourite things in MAHE. It is huge and provides all the facilities required for a student to enjoy their college life. library, food, and it provides alot of clubs like singing club etc.

Admission

MAHE is one of the best colleges in india. Which is near to my hometown. And it's in manipal which is one of the best place to study and enjoy our college life in best way possible. I've not applied to any other colleges other than mahe.and I got in.

Faculty

Faculties are good and well educated. In the sense some people have done PhD and some are doing in as well as teaching which is quite appreciable. Exams in mahe most of the main exams are done in epad.they give us training before our very first exam.

Our course is linked with hospital . One or two months we have postings on the hospital for medical exposure. Then we can get best practical for our course. Before the exam we get around one week of study leave there is no any exam pressure

from 4th year after internship students allow for placement to get placement students should pass every subject in every sem no supply then only students got placement percentage like above 70 percent each student should get my plans after getting degree is taking pg and study after pg i started to work in any rehabilitation centre you can choose pg in interest area they help to visit companies

I choosed thsi because I didn't get selected into NEET 1:40 ratio The teaching faculties are PHD holders The faculties teach us using PowerPoint online method and is very effective and books are also available to read further Every 4 month once and it was easy to pass

Remarks:

Good teaching facilities are available. And the main thing is we have a holly Chappal, it's the power house of our college. We have most all the labes , we are doing all the practicals in our college.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
