Decently huge campus with no jammers lmao
Teachers and staffs seems cool , more to know since i just joined
Nobody cares if u bunk classes all you need is 75

Dislikes

U lose an entire day of attendance if u miss one class
Bad wifi range, actually maybe they did install secret jammers
So many cameras almost everywhere not a bad thing but idt they even work

I chose my course because i genuinely just need a degree and move on, never really bothered to check the curriculum or anything. But so far the new fyug seems decent. Our exams havent started so no real comment

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 2000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 10k for applying and 2k per year, no scholarships taken by me because i dont really care just looking for a drgree i suppose. Also these fees and everything varies based on the aided and self finance(im aided) therefore the very low fee

Campus Life

So far its been pretty cool , we had our freshers day, onam celeb and maybe possibly a department event of halloween . The library is okay theres a decent amount of books and collections but the staff is really picky and annoying lmao. Not sure about the sports or clubs or anything since im a new student

Admission

Chose this college because its right opposite to my house, like 20 mins of walk and im inside the campus. Also the fees seemed fairly cool considering i have no scholarship it feels like i do with the very low fees structure (only for the aided)

The faculty is really friendly and approachable for the students, i liked all the faculties but the self finance students have it really bad it feels like a state school around that area and they have ti pay much higher fees

The curriculum is suitable for the modern age of teaching,the way of education is well balanced with projects, assignments, presentations and also notes .we have reading assignments where the faculty members ask us to read an entire book and give our review on it.the exams are quiet moderate and in my opinion teachers should use more ai tools as a learning aid which will be more effective for the students

Great life from college

Placement Experience:

From the last semester pass out we a re eligible for the campus recruitment for job or placement. So many companies visit us for the interview or some checking like , hero honda , maruti suzuki etc. the main reason for it was a low amount of budget is that get from this placement maybe 15 thousand let month ect. Only the company can take the students for it so the percentage of the students who getting placement will change in every year. My plan was to get an admission in the central government University for doing master of degree in History. And try the best exam called upsc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are many aspects of the curriculum that infulenced my decision to choose BA English Literature in St. Berchmans College. Their syllabus is far more challenging and interesting than what other colleges and universities offer in Kerala. The examinations and overall assessment of projects and grades are top-tier and is comparatively difficult to obtain. The course steadily provides good quality information and knowledge on English Litearture and readies the student to be more than qualified for further studies in English Literature or any related courses. The areas where they can improve in the course curriculum is through availing more optional courses such as various other language courses/philosophy related courses to be selected. Their teaching environment can also be improved by improving basic infrastructure in the classrooms such as airflow etc. They conduct their exams freequently and on time. The examinations are challenging but necessary for overall improvement in students
