The college might not give a good first impression. Or might not give a good impression at all, but at the end of the day, after the completion of your four years at CCET, you'll know how much you've grown and how big a part College has played in it.

Entrance Exam

The degree I am pursuing is BE. The college has a large number of funds which comes its way but the problem is the students are unaware of it. The college mostly runs on the dedication and hard work of the students.

No, the college does not provide any internships. I being in the civil department had to attend a survey camp of 14 days and also an IPD project which was more of an intracollege competition. But as such a 6 months internship is not offered

The placements and job opportunities in the college are growing year after year. There was a substantial increase in the number of companies visiting us this year. The percentage of students recruited has also risen and is expected to rise even more in the future

The college has one official club NSS which organizes most of the events including Yoga day, Voters day, Independence day, etc. Also, there is the college fest APRATIM which takes place every year in the odd semester. Sports meet is held every even semester

The fees of the college is affordable. The structure is very feasible and the hostel fees are also very less. A student with the will to learn has great value for money at this place as you get an engineering degree from Punjab University.

The college offers the scholarship to the EWS. It also has a scholarship policy for the SC/ST students. Also, there is a scholarship for the toppers of each year. Though the procedure to avail them may be very tiresome and long but in the end a scholarship worth the pain

The college authorities do not support the students in these activities. There are numerous clubs Beatles(the dance crew), 7 notes( the music club), and so many more. They make you run for permissions. Stick there feet in practices and do not allow the smooth functioning of these clubs. Even sports is not a regular thing. They only get active during the even semester in which they have to organise the sports meet according to the academic calendar.

The Hostel infrastructure is totally outdated. Recently a new girls' Hostel has been built, but the condition of the boys' Hostel continues to be poor. The toilets aren't clean, the mess food is the worst part.

The alumni of CCET are very helpful. They share their experiences and no matter what they tell you about the college, in the end, they'll tell you that it was the college who made them what they are today. Because CCET is a place where Students learn to function on their own.

There are 2 sessionals and one final exam per semester. In addition to these, you have your internal assessment scheme which includes 5 marks for attendance 5 marks for assignment and 10 marks for quizzes.

The admission process is quite simple. You get admission through JEE rank through the site of JAC. There are 3 counseling rounds and one spot round. You can fill in the preferences as you like and if your rank lies within that range you get the seat.

Most of the faculty of the college is highly educated but the method they use for teaching is quite stereotypical. And in the branch, like CSE, they make the life of students very hard giving regular assignments and a huge amount of workload
