- It is a quite good college if you consider in tire 2 -3 level colleges, because they provide some good placement opportunities and also it is easily accessible thorough bus and even metro station is also exactly opposite to college
Dislikes
- There is no extra activities, no ground, no proper canteen facilities, the management is not maintaining the college campus properly, and there is no college events or any extra cultural activities
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum covers core areas like data structures, algorithms, database management, software engineering, networking, and programming languages. These topics are foundational for both academic pursuits and industry needs.The inclusion of newer technologies such as cloud computing, AI, machine learning, and cybersecurity is a significant factor in its relevance. These areas are in high demand, and their presence in the curriculum influenced my decision to pursue this course. However, some courses could focus more on practical applications rather than being purely theoretical, especially when preparing for industry roles.The frequency and timing of exams are reasonable, generally following a semester system, but the evaluation methods could be diversified. The exams are moderate in difficulty, balancing between theoretical knowledge and practical application. More focus on continuous assessments and project-based evaluations would reduce the pressure of final exams and give students.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite good they bring lot of companies, package range from 30000-120000 . In my batch the highest package was 22lpa . They bring big companies like phone pay, Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, Deloitte, HP etc . For engineering placements stars from 6th sem for MCA and MBA they start from 3rd sem
Fees and Financial Aid
If you go through entrance exam like PGCET the entire fee per year will be 89000. If you are eligible for scholarship you will get money according to your category like for OBC you will get 23000, for reservation categories like sc/St you will get up to 70000.
Campus Life
This was quite good option compare to other colleges at tire 2 -3 level. Here they provide a good placements and teaching is also some what good , as it is under vtu this is good. Apart from that the college doesn't entertain with other extra cultural activities,
Admission
My PGCET ranking was 2200 for this rank I think this could be be best option compare to other colleges. Here the placements are quite good compare to other colleges, and also it is easy to travel as it is located in hosur main road. Instead of choosing some other colleges at this rank this college could be the best option for MCA
Faculty
Faculty members are quite good and the teaching is average, they conduct many webinars and bootcamps. As this college is under vtu everything will be followed according to their rules and regulations related to exams. In MCA it's a 2 years course with 4 sem, where you will be having 100 marks for each subjects, 50 marks from internals and 50 marks from external exam
