The BHU life. Pros and Cons?

As I am from the commerce field I decided to go ahead with bcom as majority of us do. And the curriculum and course is very well structured and relevant. All other things are great and the teaching method is also nice. Exam frequency is after 6 months which is very comfortable for everyone

Course placement is available in our college but the median package is just 800000 per annum and less students get placement offers. Students are eligible for placement I think so from the 5th semester. The percentage of placement is low from the last few years and my plans after getting a degree is to work in finance field and hopefully get a college placement

The fees for BHU is very low and affordable infact it is one of the cheapest universities to study in. The course fee per semester is just 400 with 750 development fee total of 1150 per semester and 2300 per year. People with same course having paid seat have to pay more there per year fees is 30000.

There are a lot of festivals event organised at our campus by seniors and all like Diwali holi janmashtami navratri new year Ganesh puja etc. There is a central library as well as a library in each faculty filled with numerous books. The facilities are very well and structured. Now coming to sports and extracurricular activities and societies there are end number of them. Various sports club and societies like cultural society debate society management society etc. These help us overall and in personality development.

I applied for Delhi University also, although I was allotted a seat in DU due to some family reasons i couldn't go there but I also got admission here so went with BHU. The admission process of my college is through CUET and for my course the subjects that you needed to appear for were accountancy business studies and general test. And score a minimum of 480/650 of you belong to general Category.

There are a lot of faculty members and they are approachable and guide you properly. There's also a student advisor present to help us at all time. All the faculties here at bhu are really Good and have a great environment. There are 2 exams per year semester wise and they are medium. And now we are following the NEP so it's more practical based.
