Remarks
I really don't like the fee structure of amity. It is really high in my opinion. Education is shit in most of the colleges and so does in amity. The best part in amity is that we don't have any dress and we do have air conditioning :-p

Entrance Exam
Course Curriculum Overview
Personally, I found it pretty shit. First of all, you will have to deal with an FBL(Foreign Business Language -German/Spanish/French) all 4 years. Similarly, you will be required to study behavior science for about 3 years. In the first year, you will have to study 20 subjects (History, Law, Economics, EVS, Sociology are some of the unnecessary subjects, Then we have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, English, FBL, C, Behaviour science, etc). From the second year, you will finally get some Engineering subjects. The syllabus is kept easy but at the same time, it is not much help when it comes to gaining knowledge. The question paper comprises about 50% theory and rests conceptual / Numerical based problems. In Amity, we have a relative marking that is you get marks in comparison to avg marks of your course. So if everyone had a bad paper then everyone will get good marks. It's hard to tell how our examination copies are checked as most of the time we get Unexpected marks. Lastly, it's hard to get a back paper in amity. If you are not good in studies then come to Amity, you would not face many problems.
Internships Opportunities
No, amity does not have any formal internship program. Amity allows students to organize programs with the help of their corresponding institutes. So this year our seniors have organized a 7 days internship program for us, with collaboration with Digipodium. But we would not be getting any stipend, instead, we would have to pay rs8000 to dDigipodium.
Placement Experience
Placements are decent. Almost 50% of the CS students get placement. The mass recruiter over here is Wipro which generally hires about 60 students with a package of 3 lakhs. Some other companies ( like a shell) to recruit students at the higher package of about 10-12 lakhs. Here is the placement chart of 2017-2018: https://bit.ly/2ARXSDP
College Events
There are two major events celebrated in Amity- 1) Sangathan- This is a sports event and held's in odd semester. Actually, it is more of a competition as students (other than the participants) have to attend class. 2) Amiforia- This is the major event in amity. It is held in even semesters (in the month of Feb). It is a 3 days event and if you are lucky then you may get a chance to see some celebrity as well.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is on the higher side. Amity charges 9 lakh for B-Tech (CSE). The education they provide is not even worthy of 2 lakh, so basically you pay for amity logo, placement & central air conditioning :-p.
Fees and Financial Aid
As said earlier, amity tries their best to fool you out. So while taking admission they will give 25% scholarship to all students scoring above 80%, 50% to those who score above 87%, and 100% to those who score above 94%. But from the second year, the scholarship is given to only the top 15 students and that too only 25%. 1-2 students do get a 100% scholarship. Though it's quite hard to get in the top 15 when there are 150 students in your (CSE) branch. The students whose parents earn less than 2.5 lakhs pa can avail 50% scholarship.
Campus Life
Labs are good. Most of the equipments are in working condition. Though lab assistants do not provide any help. As far as sports are concerned, we have a good ground for cricket/football, 2 basketball courts, and one badminton court.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is decent. The rooms are big and spacious. They have a sort of flat style structure in which there is one common hall with 3 rooms and a washroom. Each room is shared by 2 students. Laundry is good, and the workers do clean rooms regularly. Though the food at the mess is absolute shit.
Alumni/Alumna
The first thing you will notice in senior alumni is that they worry about your future etc but the reality is that they really don't care about it. They only pretend, and all that matters to them is how can they increase the profit of amity by praising & exaggerating SAP (study abroad programs), etc. Senior students are very good and helpful. Ragging is absolute zero in amity.
Exam Structure
Exams are generally easy. 50%+ of the paper comprises the only theory. The rest is comprised of conceptual questions and Numerical. Generally, we get a 1-2 day gap between each paper but if you are unlucky then you may have to give a paper in the very next morning.
Admission
Amity conducts its own entrance exam which one needs to clear to get admission. Other than this, they also give admission based on your 12th marks. So if you scored well then you are not required to give entrance. Now please pin it in mind that amity starts fooling you out from the very first day. First of all, the entrance test is only for formality. I didn't prepare for the test, finished my test in just about 15 min and still, I was selected. The online admission forms come out somewhere in Nov and the last date is given somewhere in mid of December. But the fact is that they fool you out, they keep postponing the last date to somewhere till May/June. Similarly, after clearing entrance test they will try to take the fee as early as possible and would warn you that your admission will be canceled but they will never tell you that they conduct entrance tests 3-4 times and you can give it later as well.
Faculty
Half of the faculties over here are lazy. They really don't want to teach. Though almost all the faculties have good qualification most of them teach badly. So if you are planning to join amity then keep in mind that you would have to solely rely on your self studies.
