Overall a good technical College with a nice environment for students and guidance of experienced faculties. Placement is good and the course curriculum is according to the University norms. The hostel facility is also good with the best quality of food and lodging.

Interview

The course curriculum is based on the syllabus and guidelines provided by the University (MAKAUT). The college strictly follows the University norms. There are 5 subjects and 2-3 Labs per semester for a total of 6 semesters to be completed in a 3 years curriculum.

No, for BCA FIEM does not provide internship but it provides training programs for computer languages both in and out of the campus. Students have to pay the training amount to enroll for the subject they want to get certified in, after successful completion of the training the students got the certificate in that particular subject.

College have a very good placement record with almost 60-70% of students placed every year in different MNC's and well known IT Companies. College organizes campus placement for IT companies and students also got opportunities to seat in off campus placements held at different colleges of MAKAUT University.

There are many in campus events celebrated at FIEM every year. There is an official cultural club of the college known as Culruv which organises all the cultural events and college also have a technical club phoneix to exhibit your technical skills and showcase your talent. Students can also participate in different sports orgained by the sports club of FIEM. The DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER APPLICATION also organises a technical Seminar every year for the students of their department to be upgraded with trending technologies.

The fee structure is feasible as it is to be paid on a semester basis after every 6 months. Students have to pay one time admission fee with a lumpsum amount of RS. 40,000 as tution fee for the first semester at the time of admission after that RS. 40,000 tution fee is to be paid per semester for 3 years .

As far as I know, College does not provide any scholarship on their own but the provide the scholarship given to students by the state and central governments. As many of my friends were availing scholarship/loan facilities during their study at this College.

There are a huge opportunity to showcase your extracurricular activities in the field of sports, cultural activities, technical skills, acting skills, drama, Art and crafts, cinematography, etc. As College have different cultural, Technical and sports club fort these type of extracurricular activities.

College does not provide any hostel facility on their own but they have a tie-up with local hostel authorities outside the college. Hostels near the college provide a good quality of food and lodging at a very affordable price.

College organizes an Alumni meet every year in the college premises which is popularly known as FAAS (FUTURE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION) in which ex-students of FIEM gather in the college campus for a one day meet with there faculty and juniors. They shares there experiences of college life and professional journey afterward the college and how the achieved success in there lifes which is extremely helpful for the juniors to plan there future journey in and after the college.

The examination structure is semester based. Each semester is of 6 months duration including 2 internals and 1 final semester examination along with Lab exam. There are 6 semesters for the course of BCA which comprises of 3 years course structure.

I got admission to BCA Course under the COMPUTER APPLICATION DEPARTMENT of FIEM through the interview process and also based on my 12th marks. You must have Mathematics as a mandatory subject in your Higher Secondary Examination if you are willing to enroll for the BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION at FIEM.

FIEM has well experienced and renowned faculty for each subject the also have subject specialized professors and Lab assistants to help you at the lab in clearing your doubts regarding the subject matters and assignments.
