Our course related to food technology and our course covers all the aspects, you get to know about the food you are eating from market shop what is comprises of and what is its quality,is it safe and if not what are the reasons it is a huge area to cover.Curriculam gives us theoretical knowledge about every aspect of food and practical knowledge also and provide a chance to make a career in food industry, one suggestion is that this course is comprises of more theoretical knowledge which can be replaced by more practical knowledge and less theoretical knowledge,and students can learn more better by working by self not just my reading it, that's where our internship help which gives us chance to to apply the theoretical knowledge into practicals and learn the concept. Every two months we have a test and and 1 assignment and practicals are weekly checked the difficulty is moderate.

Total fees is 107000/year in which 7000 is examination fee,this is just your tution and examination fee,other than that while taking admission you have to pay 10000 as refundable security money, 1000 while filling form and 5000 non refundable registration charge,and in last sem have to pay extra 3000 for convocations, you can get concession in fee if you are a sportperson or having any financial issue and if your guardian is in faculty u can get huge amount of fee concession,there are 3-4 hostel ranging from 25k to 65k per year (Ac/nonAc) each hostel has their own mess and if u r in hostel you have to join any of the mess it's compulsory.Mess charge is 3500 for veg and 4000 for non veg.no scholarship provided by college,last sem fee is pointless because u just pay full fee and goes for 4 month internship on your own cost , college didn't pay any service and they don't help in finding internship you have to do this by your own.

When u join college u will be a house alloted like blue,red,pink, yellow and under that house you will compete in events and join the culturral events other than that u can also join AIASA grp aur other cultural grps which increases your social interaction you can also attend seminar every month with the professionals. Fest held once a year in every department,food technology comes under dairy department so fest is held in November on the occasion of national milk day. Athletic meet held every year and other sports like cricket, football , badminton, volleyball, basketball are also organised. There are two library one is department library in every department and other is central library which is equipped with large study area ,ac ,books of Every field and a great environment to study.

There are two options for first is hostel and other is rented room outside the college . Hostel is registered through online portal and after allotment you have to fee full one year fee in advance.there are total 5 hostel ,one is women hostel only for girls and other 4 are for boys in which OH is most cheap providing four seater rooms which is very congested other than that NH hostel which provides room for 32000 per yar but rooms are very small other than that bathrooms are worst in this hostel next is IH hostel which is quite comfortable and rooms are good and bathroom is well furnished other than that pg hostel which is almost same as IH ,but it provides option for Ac room or Non Ac room,Ac room cost 66k per year and all the hostel have have mess facility which is open to all if you are not comfortable with your mess you can give application and change it. Food quality is below average.local rooms had a vast variety from just a room to flat at affordable price.

Food industry is a growing industry and my father owns a hotel and from my childhood I have seen everything the food preparation but always curious about the detailing flavours and when I grow up I choose food technology over the hotel management because food technology provides vast career opportunities in government and food industries. I had already focused to this course so I didn't applied on other courses I completed my 12 and applied for the course and got selected.The admission process is simple after completing 12 you have to register in this college and have to give your course preference andprepare for entrance test which is moderate after getting results you have to came to college for counseling and if you scored upto the mark you will get desired course . Document verification is done on the same day of councelling so not a hectic work other than that faculty is available to help u at every step.

Faculty is very close to students,highly qualified professionals taking lectures and inspiring you and motivates you to achieve what u want in life. Professors like Thejus Jacob ,Gaurav yadav , P gautam, S.S Singh are very friendly and teaches every concept very well and if you have queries from the syllabus or out of the syllabus you can reach to them and they will provide the best they could, There are also some professional you won't like they came and go can't take names but other than that faculty is best. For each subject their is pattern of exam which is divided into two parts Internal and external. Internal comprises of 2 test , practicals,viva and assignment and external is end term exam your result on your overall performance not just one exam. Level of examination is moderate if you study hard you get good results,many students also get fail but it depends if you fail in end term exam you have to repeat the exam and if u miss internal result show incomplete both u can cope.
