What Students Say
Likes
- Campus life is great, most of the people you meet here are genuinely good people and you wont mind interacting with them.
- Facilities provided both in hostels and academic blocks are above average and almost reaching the satisfactory to suitable range.
- Sports facilities and opportunities are also massive as you can play numerous sports and grow in them and even earn a sports scholarship if you get selected in the university team.
Dislikes
- Crowd , not the quality but the quantity. Its like the authorities are filling in way more people than they can cater although it might seem managabke from their POV but as a student it makes the college experience a bit tough.
- No progress or growth in placements infact the trends show that the placements are going down day by day but the university management doesn't accept it.
- The fees is not very affordable and by increasing the intake every year paying so much of money feels less worthy as the experience deteriorates year by year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is up to date and it is better than most of the other colleges and universities as our curriculum sticks to relevancy and doesn't require to do extra futile work whatever one does will only benefit them in the longer run .
Internships Opportunities
if you are good enough you can secure internships from 6th semester onwards as this facility is provided by the university itself but the truth is very few people can get internship as there's way too much competition and very less opportunities.
Placement Experience
campus placements are not good and the numbers on the website seem to be inflated. The thing with placements is that companies do come to campus but due to so high intake only few of them are capable of securing a placement. So expecting a decent package for everyone is out of reach here and it will be like that, so to get placed you need to be in top 10% of your year's students.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee for 1st year is 380000 and there's a 5000 increase in this amount every year for 1st year only and an increase of 10000 for further years like for year 2 it is 390000 and so on. Plus there's also a registration fee of 45000 added in 1st year fees. So the total fee for the course is 1615000. Scholarships are also available on the basis of your score in jee mains , board exams , cuet and you can get a maximum of 50% scholarship on your tution fee on the basis of your score in these exams.
Campus Life
campus life is good as there are many food outlets to go with your friends and many sports facilities to spend time with your mates. And club culture is also very rich here , there are a lot of clubs both cultural and academic related where you will get to meet new people n make connections.
Admission
I chose this college mainly because my friend was already studying here, and I didn't have any better options at the time. On paper, the college had good placements, which was a big factor for me. Also, the overall college life is pretty enjoyable, with a decent balance of academics and extracurriculars. I applied to a few other colleges, but I either didn't get selected or felt this was a better option given my circumstances. Regarding rejections, I didn't make it to some other colleges, primarily because of my entrance exam scores, which didn't meet their high cutoffs. I think I could have prepared better or applied to a wider range of colleges. As for the admission process at this college, it's relatively straightforward. The eligibility criteria depend on the course, but for most programs, students are required to have passed their 12th-grade exams or equivalent. The college accepts a range of entrance exams, but for my course, the most preferred exam is jee.
Faculty
Faculty members on the basis of qualification cannot be questioned but having qualification doesn't mean you can make the person you're teaching as qualified as you , it depends on how or even if, you are able to teach the students well. But most of the Faculty is decent and only a handful of them can be questioned that too on their teaching methods. As far as exams go , if a student studies well they can get decent grades and there are 2 exams in a semester one is mid sem other being end sem with quizes in between and also practical exams or codathons.
