My admission is done by counselling process when I qualified in MP engineering entrance exam. By counseling I got this college.I want to graduate in B.E. as a engineer so I choose this course.

Yes Companies came for internship. But i have not experienced any internship yet.

Placements and job opportunities are more here. Companies came here and with the help of their selection procedure they select the required candidates or students.

College Events

Yes every year technical festival is conducted. Students took part in various activities and show their skills. Technical and cultural events are circuit designing,robotics,c-mania, debugging,assemble-dissemble,group dance,face painting,rangoli,paper presentation,singing etc and the prizes were also given to them. Even participation certificate is also provided.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided to many students like OBC,ST,SC, etc. Some students also studied with the help of loans.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good and we enjoyed a lot. The gender ratio in 3:7. Students came from many places like Bihar,U.P and other states. Extracurricular activities always held in our campus. Debates are organized on recent topics. Competition like quiz and dance are held.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel's rooms are large enough. There are single and double sitter rooms. The fees are also reasonable. The Mess food is good. Sometimes it is bad. But many times it is good. In hostel we are given Wi-fi facilities and gym facilities.

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Senior students help junior in every part. They help them in studies. If any function is conducted or organized senior students guide the juniors.

One becomes eligible for college placements if he/she in their third or fourth year. The number of companies visits are great like Microsoft, JP Morgan Chase &Co. , Atlassian etc. These are the good companies which offers great placements. The percentage of students placed are about 85%. My plans after getting a degree is I'll move in tech based companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Jiwaji is Government university which have a long heritage. But is now coming to the short end of the rope. Institute of Engineering Jiwaji is fairly newly established around 20 to 30 years or so. The faculty is not that great and is not that experienced and have less facilities. Faculty of IEJU is mostly on temporary payroll with some of the permanent faculty. You have entire leasure of time to yourself. So, thing other than couese can be pursued. Hostel facilities are good. If we come to exams Other than Pharmacy and Engineering all other course have tomoy scheduled exams with strict checking and scoring.

Remarks:

My college comes under Institute of National importance,it has amazing placement,the students in this college are very intelligent as everyone joins after qualifying one of the toughest exam JEE advance, college has beautiful campus and has well equipped labs and also hasquite low fee compared to other colleges.

Choosing a college is a major decision, and for many students OIST Bhopal, the choice often comes down to abalance between legacy, regional repution, and practical constraints. Students typically compare OIST with other top private colleges in Madhya Pradesh such as LNCT or VIT Bhopal. My rank falls in the 1.5 Lakh to 5 Lakh range, OIST becomes a primary choice. It offers the same RGPV degree as the government colleges but with a more structured trainig program for private placements. The admission process is centralized and follows the guidelines of the Directorate of Technicial Education(DTE), Madhya Pradesh. Qualifying exams: 10+2 with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics(PCM). Minimum Marks:45% aggregate in 12th Accepted Exams:JEE Main is the primary and most preferred exam. OIST Bhopal is an outstanding institute!
