Vit fresher experience

I specially chose this course (chemical engineering)coz I like chemistry from school days.And also the fact that scope for chemical engineering is always considered EVERGREEN. Considering the curriculum for now we are learning nothing more than what we learnt in class 12 Maybe from the upcoming years we learn more . Difficulty of the exams are not too much but just manageable

Ive taken my admission this year (2024) The academic and guidance to what we have to be doing is quite good As for now I have 4 subjects (main) to learn and other subjects The four main subject test is being taken as Cat And the other two seperately in different names .. The teachers guide you so well if u are ready to interact as far as the teacher is not a blacklisted faculty.If the faculty is not a blacklisted one then its a no problem,they provide you with the marks you deserve and sometimes more(in my opinion,maybe not applicable for all) . The college has lots and lots of events for you to enjoy your college life on daily basis.If you find a good company to enjoy this and manage your academics equally you are gonna have a great fresher year . From the start of second year I think you get to join clubs and organise these events which will gain you a lot of skills . The college is good ????

There are two main fest happening all the year in VIT , GRAVITAS and Riveria..Gravitas is a tech event where you can see lot of stalls arranged to conduct various competitions,games, workshops ect And the Riveria is totally a cultural event where you can see a lot of celebrities being invited every year The classroom are well equipped (not so well but it could satisfy the basic needs)for the classes to take place You can access the library whenever you want even in the night coz there is a thing called night Library here The students can take part in club events and after a point of time can even join the clubs and organise the same

Talking about the hostels I've taken non apt 4 sharing ac I've been allotted room in the j block which was still on construction when we arrived for the induction program and is still on construction. The amenities given in the room are quite okay but except for the fact that they turn faulty most of the times. The menu of the meal is attractive but the taste is sooo repulsive ???? The hostel is 70% worth for the money in my opinion Im so much satisfied with the fact that my block is so near to my academic block

I was an JEE aspirants.I wanted to get into some food Nits but as I couldn't satisfy the eligibility criteria for those colleges I chose to write the other entrance like AEEE,VITEEE ect . Comparing all other colleges VIT seemed good for the course I wanted to opt First of all you have to appear for the entrance exam VITEEE and then based on your rank and ur choice filling order with the availability of seats you get places into various courses

As far as now I have 6 faculties handling 6 subjects for me.All of them are easily approachable both online and offline.Most of the teachers would have given us a medium through which we can contact them and some teachers has also provided us with their cabin details so that we can meet them and clarify our doubts anytime. I liked my python teacher who is also my proctor for the way she teaches her subjects and also coz we get a lot of free time in her class if we complete our day to day task before time and most of the time the tasks are small and easy There is no faculty that I don't like coz thou they act harsh at times by the end of the day they are not like they don't provide us with the marks we don't deserve A semester has three exams cat1 cat2 and fat..fat is the final exam .the criteria for clearing the exam is very easy .it is not a little hard to get some good cgpa at the end
