KMIT-INTRODUCES A NEW WAY OF LEARNING

One thing I am proud of my college is our director and founder NEIL GOGTE.No other colleges in the state has his vision and his effort in making good students is immense. He just not want to mug up with the syllabus but he strives to teach students practically. So he himself takes classes for students right from st year student till the 4th year even in his busy schedule. I can say there is no best college than KMIT in the computer science department. Coming to negatives, there are not many actually. Even though there are some negatives they can be ignored like fests, extracurricular activities. Who needs them in college officially, when we can do the same stuff unofficially outside the campus. Finally, I am blessed and proud to be a part of KMIT.

Entrance Exam, Merit List

I opted for a bachelor's in technology specifically in computer science. I am very much interested in computers and programming, So I have gone for it. The exam is conducted by JntuH as our college was affiliated to JNTUH. Exam pattern mainly concentrates on the basic concepts of the syllabus book. Questions are asked from interrelated topics that way testing the superior understanding skills of students. Normal students can't clear these questions with ease. The exam is held for 100 marks, out of which 25 marks are allotted for college internal exams and 75 marks was conducted by JNTU itself.

Placement wise I can say our college is the best in our state. Our college offers the only admission in courses like B.tech in CSE, IT, ECE, EIE. Our college stands best in this course in terms of placements. If a student maintains good academics, and if he is good at his skills like programming, etc... Then there is a good chance for him to get a job on the campus itself. Yes, my college even provides internships in some good renowned companies for students who maintain good academics. And Moreover, our college director has a software development company where he uses some good brains of our college in his team.

If your love enjoying and participating in events and extracurricular activities, sorry this college isn't for you. We do have events but they are on a small scale, not very well organized by management. We do have events but no one shows interest in them, not even the management. They conducted them just for the sake of conducting. But I can promise u there is a lot of fun in unofficial fests. Yaaa u heard it right unofficial fests held by students mostly by seniors were fun filling outside the campus.

Most of the students in college enter through the EAMCET exam with good ranks, so they get the fees reimbursement from the state government. They don't even need to pay a single penny if they belong to economically backward classes. For the rest of them who are from middle and upper classes, it is a small matter of Rs.77000/- per annum which is very much affordable for them.

Sorry, as of my knowledge my college doesn't provide any scholarships and loan facilities.But college takes care of all the expenditures of the students who are participating in any kind of competition outside the college representing the college.

Recently our college started focusing on extracurricular activities. The college encourages student talents by giving them a platform to increase their skills. There are dance clubs, music clubs, coding clubs, arts, and crafts even yoga club in our college. students can choose a club of their interest. Now about the laboratory, we do have all the necessary labs for our courses. And we even have an R&D department at our college. As I previously said there is only little scope for Sports due to land scarcity.we do have volleyball, basketball and football courts, Shuttle-badminton and indoor games like carroms, chess, table tennis are also provided, but there is no scope for Indians most favorite game CRICKET.

Sorry, the hostel facility is not provided by the college due to its land scarcity as college is situated in the heart of the HYDERABAD city. But there are a lot of private hostels and PGs around the college where u can find good accommodation.

So far I have never come across or I didn't see any student who has passed out the college, but I can say you about seniors students. The senior-junior relationship In this college is not so good, but I can say it is better than other colleges. Seniors and juniors form up teams in participating in extracurricular activities. They help us a lot in programming and study related things. They want us to take part in clubs so that when they pass out we can handle them with ease. There is no raging like things in our college. Seniors are very friendly as they are our classmates.

Firstly I got through the entrance exam conducted by TELANGANA Government with a good rank. Then opt out for this best college in TELANGANA for Computer Science with a very basic interview conducted by the college.

Nothing is perfect anywhere. In our college, there are good professors while there is also someone who is not good at teaching. There are also Ph.D. holders in our faculty. But there are some faculty who teach only in the exam point-of-view. They don't bother about students future, they just want the highest pass percentage and teach according to it. But some faculty teach facts out of syllabus and build student to stand ahead from other students in this growing competition.
