Overview of Andhra University college of engineering , Andhra Pradesh

As I'm an computer science student. I have c language as by basic programming subject from the first semester itself .but my professor isn't good at all .he instited on learning us on our own rather than teaching us . As everyone else I also wanted to pursue this CSE course .the exams timing is fine..we will be having semester exams for every 5 to 6 months gap I suggest the hod to look after the teachers who are not teaching at all . The exams in my opinion are like good. An average student can clear all the subjects with minimal knowledge without failing in any of the subjects

As this is an government University they won't pay to companies to come here.. only desired companies who are willing to take students from here are arrived at this college. The placements are very less in our college. I heard Accenture came last year and recruited some people the average packege would be around 3 lakhs per annum, but the number of students getting placed in a company are very less. around 5 to 10 percent of the students get placed each year . I was looking to give gate and go for Mtech in an iit or other colleges

My course consisting of 4 years and I'm currently in my third year. I have to pay 39500 each year at the start of the year. So that means i have paid around 1,20,000 till now .and for each sem I have to pay 1500 extra for registration. And for physical labs they will charge some extra for lab maintainance. for management stundenta the fee is 200000 per year and for sc / st students the central government will help with scholarship.. but for general students like me nothing is there to help.. we have to fight for everything

Campus life here will be the best . You will have a lot of freedom. Every year we will be celebrating a department day. And fests will be conducted and flashmobs here and there each year for juniors. Classroom are quite good. we will be having a good ventilation in the department. And ac will be there in some of the classroom.and we have digital boards along with normal boards and ppts can be presented easily for better understanding. Library has a quite variety of books. It covers almost all aspects of books. We have ncc and nss and sports events are conducted here and there and good involvement in physical activities. Yeah some clubs are there social clubs and some other , they will benifit in increasing your network. Start-ups are also evolving recently in our college..so these social groups really help a lot

I was living in the college hostel since my admission. Facilities will be the basic facilities everyone need to stay in a hostel. We will be having shelfs for evryone and fans and lights and all . The food provided here is quite good. It covers a variety of items including non veg ie, chicken for two times a week and egg will be served two times a week . Registration process is similar to college admission process. You have to take an admission into the hostel at the hostel office of the university .then you can choose your room and move into it. the hostel is I say affordable but for middle class people like us it may seem quite high price.

In my state there are a total of three famous universities.. one is this Andhra University , another is jntu kakinada and other one is sri Venkateswara University. As everyone I have placed this college over all the other colleges becouse it's the top university in the state and one of the top in the country.i have chooses Vasavi, Aditya, Anits, rvr jc, jntu a , jntu k, svu and some other colleges in my councelling. But luckily I'm happy to get into this university.i haven't got a rejection, this is the top college of my preference list, i would have secured admission in any college in the whole Andhra Pradesh with my rank, but I choose this college by myself. You have to get a rank in eapcet , common entrance test for engineering colleges if Andhra Pradesh and by the rank of eapcet you will be accepted to this college by the required verification done in the office. The cutoff for general category to secure a seat in cse in my college would be around 2500 rank

In each sem we will be getting 5 subjects and three labs.. Some faculty will be good and supporting and some other will teach nothing in class. We have to just submit their assignments that's it . I liked my os and ds professors and I have a bad image on my x language sir . Coming to exams as it is an university the exams are quite tough. The curriculum is quite good but execution would have been better
